Back Home

IMG_6434
It's a beautiful Autumn morning and I'm ready to start the week. We returned home from our trip to Florida late Saturday evening. Yesterday was spent cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and on endless loads of laundry (finishing up the last 3 this morning).

I also put out a few more fall decorations and I will share pictures soon.

My oak tree got a bit of a head start on me.

It is so good to see a post from you.
We were in Florida last week too and I was amazed at how our trees had changed in a week - and how many are waiting to be blown away from doors and outdoor spaces. And I wonder, where did October go? I'm thinking of making you scone recipe again but I'm also looking at the Pumpkin Gingerbread...yummy fall nesting time! Thank you for posting and sharing such good things, Kelli.

Yes, it is wonderful to see a post from you. The oak leaf pictures are gorgeous!

We are heading out West next week and I expect most of our leaves to be off the trees when we return 2 weeks after that. I sort of dread winter, but it's inevitable up here, and really I like living where there are four distinct seasons!

Welcome home. Good to see you posting. You must have the one pretty tree in the area growing in your yard. I'm on the lookout for pretty color, but have not seen much in our area so far. That fog was really something this morning though. So pretty!
