~Home Sweet Home~

To all of my blogging friends...

Picture from Art.com

May you have
warm words on a
cold evening,
a full moon on a
dark night,
and the road
downhill all
the way to
your door.
~Irish Proverb

    Lovely thought and beautiful picture.

Thanks for the visit and comment. We like birdhouses. Many years we've made and painted them at Vacation Bible School at church.

  7. What a lovely thought and beautiful artwork! My husband's family is of Irish descent (you could probably tell that by our last name LOL), and many times we'll repeat the Irish Blessing together at family gatherings.
Thanks for sharing and may the Lord bless you with a wonderful and profitable week!
    Hugs,

  18. Thank you for bringing back lovely memories. My great Aunt Fran shared that Irish Proverb with me years ago when I was a child. She laughed and told me that at one time her family lived at the bottom of a small hill and she literally had it 'downhill' all the way to her door. It often caused problems when there was a ice storm - normal Canadian winter weather! Talk about sliding in to home!
