A New Quilt Rack
Hello everyone! Phillip had to work late last night so we decided to go to Goodwill. Earlier that day I had been looking through a catalog at some $70.00 quilt racks...Yikes! Imagine my surprise when I saw one at Goodwill a few hours later for $10.99! It just needed a good polish with some Old English wood cleaner.
It has three long wooden bars on it for hanging quilts.
I also displayed my vintage linens, an idea I borrowed from Martha. :0)

That is so pretty. I had a quilt rack and I gave it away when we moved. I wish I had it back. Yours looks great with the linens on it.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I'm thrilled with the bargain you found. I LOVE to find just what I've wished for when I'm thrifting. Sometimes I wonder if God saves them just for me and then places them in the perfect spot for me to find just as I discover them. You did a great job displaying your linens. You encourage me and while I read and looked at your linens I "suddenly" remembered a fantastic oak quilt shelf/hanger that's in my garage. I'm going to go out and get it, dust it off and hang it in my sewing room with some of my vintage linens and perhaps an old quilt peeking out from under them. You are an inspiration. Thanks for sharing.

What a WONDERFUL find, Kelli!! I gave one as a wedding gift a few years ago and paid WAY more than $70 even! So the price you found at Goodwill is WONDERFUL!!

Oh, what a great find! I love quilt racks, I have one, but it was given to me by my mom and has served me well, through several military moves. It was one item I didn't store, I brought it home with me and it is in my room here:)

This is so nice, Kelli! I have a quilt rack that I love and would like to get another one. Maybe I'll check out our local thrift stores, too.
