Hello everyone! September is already half over, is it any cooler at your house yet? We've had several evenings in the upper 60's, so that was nice!
We have errands to run and school books to go through this weekend. Do you have any fun plans?
My friend Revee at Country Roads is starting Memories Monday this coming week.
Here is what she says:
"I will be starting Memories Monday where you can share your favorite memories of family, friends, childhood, and life in general. It will be fun to read about special memories each of us have. Pictures will be a nice accompaniment but not required!"
I'll be back on Monday to share my special memory. Talk to you then!
weekends always seems for errand running, cleaning and the like..
ReplyDeletetoday i got up extra early, got my room spiffy, so i could sit down later to work on my preemie blankie...
Its cooler here today, am glad, cause i dont like heat waves..
have a beautiful weekend..
Memories Monday, that sounds neat! I might participate too :)
ReplyDeleteIt's not much cooler yet -- down to 90 from 99. :-) I guess that's why I haven't been motivated to decorate for fall yet, besides not having time. But I will the first day of fall if not before! And hopefully by then we'll have some autumnal coolness. I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteToday we are spending time together indoors since the children have sniffles and coughs. Tonight we will be enjoying some homemade vegetable soup for supper. Yum! Enjoy your weekend Kelli!
ReplyDeleteHi Kelli! It is much cooler here today, thankfully! We are getting ready to celebrate my MIL's birthday tomorrow. I just got a chance to download your magazine. Wowza! It's lovely! You have found your calling.
ReplyDeleteIt's very cool here--we're loving it! Today was spent with women's fellowship at church, and we were fortunate to hear a woman from our church talk about her trip to India--it was quite interesting! Also, there's always housecleaning in the mix on the weekends!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Paula
Come by and see me on Monday.....Kathleen at the open window is hosting welcome to my neighborhood...I really would love for you to come see where we live....I'm getting my fall down this week by the way.....
ReplyDeleteNo signs of fall here yet:p I love the basket with the pumpkins and corn, etc. Is that at your house? Very cute!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I like your acorn collection, they are very fall-ish!
Oh that sounds neat! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your Monday memories post...
ReplyDelete((hugs))
This has been a busy weekend, but, I've actually accomplished quite a bit. I made it to the store, had my son's birhtday pary, graded papers, did some laundry, and wrote a book report on a book I just finished for a disciple class. AND I even posted on my blog. =O)
ReplyDeleteOur mornings and evenings are cool, but the afternoons are still pretty warm. We could use some more rain. Usually, it seems we've had more by now.
ReplyDeleteToday, I went to two birthday parties. My first born nephew turned 27 today, and my youngest great neice turned 2. It felt emotional in a happy way.
no fall here yet... it goes directly from hot to not so hot...we have very little fall so it is hard to get in the fall mood...
ReplyDeletehowever... I do love seeing the rest of you enjoy all the fall colors
60 degrees at night?!!! Wow, not here in this part of Texas! It's still in the high 70's at night and mid to high 90's in the daytime hours. I can't wait for cooler weather you're getting.
ReplyDeleteMemories Monday? Hmmmmm, at one time wasn't there another meme for Monday with the same concept? You wonder what happened to that....
Have fun for your weekend. Happy Sunday.
Yes! Last night was positively cold! 45 degrees! I loved it!
ReplyDeleteToday we are headed out on the boat, it is only 69 degrees now at 2:00. Last week it was 96!
Got my fall decorations down and put where I want (even though I'm missing some stuff, back up to the attic for me).
Linda
Drop by my site, Kelli. I just gave you an award.
ReplyDeleteSusan
It has REALLY cooled down here. As a matter of fact, it has been drizzling ALL DAY! Fall is definately here, my friend.
ReplyDeleteIn Him,
Christina
P.S. I lave the fall display pictured. Too cute!
