Here are some simple pleasures to welcome in the wonderful month of October!

~Plan an outing to a pumpkin patch or farmers' market. Go on a search for the perfect pumpkin.

~Take a drive in the country to admire all the colors of the season. Take along a picnic!

  6. i spent most of yesterday indoors - watching baseball and football. then, around the dinner hour, i went out on the back deck and the crisp autumn air hit me. there's just something special about the feel and smell of the air in the fall months that i just love. welcome october!

  17. I love to do all those things in the fall as well. We always take a picnic lunch and drive the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is so beautiful this time of year.

  35. Besides the pumpkins and bittersweet, I like to buy apples and the caramel / peanut butter dip for snacks. I like them better than caramel apples. Thanks for sharing such pretty photos.
