We had Grace's birthday party this past Sunday. It was an American Girl-Patriotic-Campout theme and Grace planned almost everything by herself!
Phillip set up a tent in our backyard. It was a beautiful sunny day!
Grace and I set up the craft table the night before. Everyone got various blue and white scrapbook papers, stickers and 2 blank bookmarks. We also set out scissors, ribbon and bowls of pretty beads.
We had sandwiches (cucumber and chicken salad), pigs in a blanket (they were baking when I took this picture), grapes, blackberries, cheese and crackers, and garlic pretzels.
All seven girls ate lunch in the tent.
We had "Fruit Fizz" to drink. All you do is mix up a frozen can of your favorite juice, and add ginger ale.
We used Strawberry Blast juice.
The bookmark craft was a hit, and afterwards the girls played a game. Grace had hidden mini flags all over the house and everyone had to see how many they could find.
Here is the cake that Grace and I made.
Last of all, Grace opened her gifts. The two hours went by very quickly and everyone had fun. I gave out Valentine goodie bags to all the girls when they left. Thank you for looking at all the pictures!
What a fun party! Great ideas! And a very happy birthday wish to Miss Grace!
