Meet in the Middle Notecard
Hello everyone! Today's homemade notecard project is called "Meet in the Middle." They are quick to put together and would make great birthday or even Mother's Day cards!
Materials:
-5" x 10" piece of cardstock
-4 1/2" square of patterned scrapbook paper
-2 1/2" square of cardstock
-Ribbon
-Stickers
Tools:
-Scissors
-Ruler
-Glue
-Hot Glue
Take the large piece of scrapbook paper and fold in both sides at 2 1/2 inches. I used a ruler as a guide.
Get your square of patterned scrapbook paper.
Cut in half.
Glue pieces to front of card.
For this next step you will need wide ribbon or a long strip of paper would also work. This pretty vintage ribbon was a gift from my friend, Heather!
Using hot glue, attach one end to the inside of card.
Wrap ribbon around back of card securing with hot glue.
Continue around to the front and secure other end of ribbon to the inside of card.
Add stickers or stamps to small square of cardstock.
Hot glue the square to the left side flap.
Send to a friend!

Kelli,
I remember so well the Mother's Day gifts/projects we did in school. One year we bought perfume-scented necklaces. Pee-yew! One year we made cards using the toothbrush/paint/screen technique. Cool - I should try that now. And one year we made "tea cup men" by turning cups upside down, gluing them to the saucers and gluing felt features on the face (the handle was the nose.)
What a beautiful card. I will have to try something like that! You have such wonderful ideas!
Love the card!! Am already planning a time to share this with our bible study group.
That is beautiful. I love that you share these great crafts with us.

I would love to make my own cards, too... if only I had more time...
