Bird Nest Display

Happy Monday! Thank you for stopping by to say hi this past weekend. We have another week of swim lessons and various errands. We will also be taking a meal over to some friends who just had a new baby.

Nest
Recently, I worked on a small project that I would like to share with you. Benjamin found this beautiful nest on the ground and brought it to me.

Egg
This partial egg was nearby. Isn't it pretty?

Nest
I placed a little floral moss in a glass container and set the nest inside.

Nest
I added a piece of sheet music scrapbook paper.

Papers
And made a tag and a tiny ~Home Sweet Home~ banner.

Keys
I also got out some ribbon and the two old keys that I got at the antique shop last week.

Nest
I laid the banner across the nest.

Keys
And tied on the tag and keys with ribbon.

Nest
Thank you for looking at my new bird nest display!

  11. That's darling, Kelli! Such creative touches you added - just lovely!

How lucky you were to have found a little egg, too. I found a tiny hummingbird nest a couple of months back, which is so sweet, but no egg.

    Have a great week!

  26. Kelli,

Be careful with real bird's nests that you may find on the ground. Often they have parasites on them.

Hopefully the vet will give you the okay with Daisy and walks. We have the same restrictions here. The vet told me that we could not walk Tildy or get her groomed until her shots are complete.
