My mornings start early with a puppy in the house. Last week I sat back with my camera and took some pictures of how things usually go around here.
"I love playing in the sandbox."
"And chewing on pails."
"Oops, how did that happen?"
"This wasn't part of my plan."
"Time for plan B."
"Boy, am I thirsty."
"Really thirsty."
"Much better!"
"It was an accident...I promise!"
Oh that face, so innocent! Love it!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! As I was looking at the pics, I was thinking I couldn't believe she didn't jump right into your little pond....oops, she did!
ReplyDeleteDaisy is so adorable and just like a retriever to love water! My favorite photos are Daisy behind the clump of grass and the final one - I've seen that look many times on our Zipper.
ReplyDeletePuppies are so much fun, aren't they? And pretty soon she won't be able to fit in your pond..she's growing so fast!
ReplyDeleteAdorable!
ReplyDeleteSooo Cute! I have the hardest time keeping our lab out of the pond. We live at the lake, why can't she just get in there when she gets hot? And she always has that same look on her face that your Daisy has on hers, like opps, I didn't mean for you to see me!

Very cute! I love photographs strung together to tell a story like that - you do it so well! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh Kelli - too cute! Thank you for reminding me why it wouldn't be a good idea to give in to our children's constant plea for a puppy! I don't think I have any extra energy for puppy care at this time! Your pictures are great - the hiding behind the grass is so expressive - you can tell Daisy is contemplating mischief!
ReplyDeleteAwww....sooo incredibly sweet!!! :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute...puppies are so much fun. It looks like she keeps you very busy.
ReplyDeleteHow cute!! Your captions fit perfectly with the pictures. This post put a smile on my face this morning. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny! I bet with him around, there is never a dull moment.
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are too cute for words! What a sweet dog and maybe a little spoiled? ;o)
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to say how much I enjoyed participating in Show And Tell. Thanks for hosting it.
Daisy is just too adorable! All these fun pics of her always make my day.
ReplyDeleteKelli, I cannot believe how big your puppy is already! She is adorable. Don't you just melt when she looks at you with those big puppy dog eyes.
ReplyDeleteHey ~ when a fella needs a drink - he needs a drink! Too cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute puppie! And a beautiful blog!
ReplyDeleteI own 3 retriever (mom and 2 of her babies) I love my babies ;)
Cute post!
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute. But boy, those first two years of puppyhood...they can wear you out!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun day Daisy has! She knows how to keep cool on your hot TX summer days! What a smart puppy.
ReplyDeleteJenn
What a sweet puppy! There's nothing quite as heart-warming as that soulful look a dog can create.
ReplyDeleteHave you by chance read Marley & Me? I think you'd really appreciate the story. :-)
Have a great day.
Those eyes in the last picture say it all!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetheart you have on your hands. A curious, naughty, fun-loving sweetheart!
So very cute!
ReplyDeleteKelli I just love her, she is adorable :)
ReplyDeleteShe's really growing isn't she! What a cutie! Sampson would have eaten the pail, not just chewed it. We have the evidence of several plastic kids chairs that didn't make it past his "eating" all over our backyard!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! I love her hiding behind the grass.
Kelli,
ReplyDeleteJust wanted you to know that Rhubarb leaves are toxic to doggies. Daisy is probably not interested in them, but thought you should be aware.
Too cute!!!! I love that little puppy face. Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteKelli, this is precious :) Miss M and Mr S are going to love it!! Love, Q
ReplyDeleteShe's growing so fast.
ReplyDeleteToo too cute!!! You need to enter these pictures in some kinda contest, she is a true winner!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet pup!
ReplyDeleteHe's a cutie!
ReplyDeleteDaisy is ADORABLE!! My husband doesn't read blogs and isn't interested in them but he enjoys it when I forward him the links to posts about Daisy. We love Goldens. (o:
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute dog. Looks like he had a great day.
ReplyDeleteToo cute. I just loved the picture of Daisy getting a drink and thought she is going to end up in the pond, and she did...LOL.
ReplyDeleteMom, it was an accident, my Lily has said that too. Hugs, Linda
Oh, how cute! Daisy is soooo cute! Makes me want to get another doggie!
ReplyDeleteKatherine
We had a golden retriever when our older girls were little. His name was Ranger, but they called him Danger. It was true, because he was so energetic, he would knock them over with all his wiggling. Your cutie looks just like he did, and Ranger was into everything just as yours is. Brings back fond memories!
ReplyDeleteOh, he is sooo cute. We have one that is now 10 yrs. old and arthritic. He is still the best dog we have ever had. When he is gone we will get another Golden.
ReplyDeleteBlessings~~
Oh my! That is too funny!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL my husband and I just got a golden retriever puppy on Sunday. Yesterday we came home to kitty litter all over the floor. But, they are so adorable and fun that you can't be mad :)
ReplyDeleteThese photos are so lovely, Kelli! Because your home is so nice and everything you do is so lovely, I thought you might be a woman who does not tolerate mess and dirt from kids and dogs. Obviously, you enjoy your critter's antics even though there's mud involved. Looks like the pup is going to be a "blonde" golden. I just love her.
ReplyDeleteDaisy is growing by leaps and bounds, and having a good time in the meantime. She is so precious!
ReplyDeleteshe's growing quick! :)

She has grown so much. Now did she have to have a bath before returning to the house?
ReplyDeleteMama Bear
Oh, how sweet! Our neighbour has a Golder Retriever, too! His name is Olli.
ReplyDeleteI especially like Daisy's look on the very last picture. She looks as if she would say: "I am sorry for taking a bath in the pond, I know it's not a dog bath"... ;-)
