Giving Thanks ~ Tuesday
Welcome to the second day of our "Giving Thanks" celebration! We are taking this week (Monday-Thursday) to prepare our hearts and homes for this wonderful time of year. My Thanksgiving project, daily cleaning challenge and poem, are located directly below this post.
I would love for you to join in the fun! Mr. Linky is available for you to sign and here are some things you could share on your blog:
-What you are thankful for
-Thanksgiving traditions or memories
-Recipes
-Craft Ideas
-Decorating ideas
-Your menu
-Cleaning/Organizing "before" and "after" pictures
-Anything having to do with Thanksgiving!
Everyone who participates and signs Mr. Linky will be entered into a drawing at the end of the week! Go HERE to see the prizes. Each day you participate, your name will be entered into the giveaway drawing. If you participate two days, your name will be entered twice, join us all four days for four entries, etc.
Please read the participating instructions carefully:
1. Write a Thanksgiving post on your blog. Link back to There is No Place Like Home so that others know where to join in. You may use the "Giving Thanks" button located at the top of this post. Go HERE for the picture code.
2. When signing Mr. Linky, link directly to your "Giving Thanks" post and not your homepage URL. People will be looking through these links all week long. If you link to your main page, it will be harder to find your post. Go HERE for instructions on how to do this.
3. In order to make the Mr. Linky list easier to read, please type your first name only and a 1-2 word description. Example: Kelli-Recipe.
We are looking forward to what you have to share!
Hi Kelli, I'm curious as to why my name comes up bold and with a smily face? I'm not one to stick out in a crowd! I'm not seeing anyone elses doing that. Am I doing something wrong when I sign Mr. Linky?
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Brenda
Hi Brenda, you are the only one that can see the smiley face by your name. Clicking on it will take you to a page where you can delete your link, so you probably don't want to do that. :0)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the fun contest! It's inspiring to read and look at the differnt posts other people do, and you certainly have a creative knack to creating a community atmosphere (and coming up with fun project/ ideas for blogs)
ReplyDeleteok, relief!
ReplyDeleteI entered today and left a link here.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day Kelli and thanks for hosting this :)
It's a really beautiful tradition, I whish I could feel the atmosphere there.....

ReplyDeleteI am really enjoying this. It was fun to see all the creative ladies yesterday. Thankyou for hosting this! Have a blessed day!
ReplyDeleteI remember being young and enjoying all that extra work! Now I will just be satisfied with getting away (the 7 of us are considering "running away from home") and doing nothing but having a nice time together with NO work. We may head down to Sierra Vista (what in the world is there to do in Sierra Vista?) and perhaps even eating at Mackie Dee's for Thanksgiving dinner! Remember...NO WORK!
ReplyDeleteMy dd's and I are having a great time planning. My 5 yo cried last night because my 21 yo won't be home for T'day- she's at college adn going to grandparents house who are closer- glad we had the tears last night instead of next week!
ReplyDeleteHi Kelli- I'm here for the fun again today. Thanks for setting this up. It's fun and inspiring to read others' blogs and getting new ideas or words of encouragement. Hope your day is great!
