Christmas Front Porch

Front porch
Welcome to my Christmasy front porch!

Ice skates
I hung my childhood ice skates on the front door and added greenery, berries and a gold bow.

I've had the snowman lanterns for many years, and the rustic star garland was a yardsale find. I wrapped it around the evergreen wreath.

And had a little leftover for the table.

Some of you will recognize the sleigh from last week's show and tell!

Thank you for stopping by and taking a look at my front porch. I hope you have a wonderful start to your week!

Kelli - your front porch is really lovely! How cold does it get where you live? is it cold enough to use skates? sorry no idea of your climate.

I love the porch! I was going to put skates on my front door too...but they beat me to it at the house across the street...So, I had to come up with something else!

It's beautiful Kelli! Can you come do mine next? ;-) Actually, we can't do a lot with ours because of the wind. We bought two balled evergreens and strung them with lights. We couldn't keep the one standing yesterday. After Christmas, we'll plant them in the yard, if they make it til then!LOL

Good morning Kelli, I love what you've done to your front porch. The snowman lanterns are so adorable. But girl, if I had those skates on my front door... surely I would break out my glass from slamming the door.....OUCH! I think it is special that you still have the skates from your childhood.

Kelli,

Your porch is so charming! What a lovely greeting for those who visit.

How is Daisy doing? Little Matilda Bear was up and around the next day after her surgery. The veterinarian did give us some pain medication to give her for a few days.

Would you like to exchange Christmas cards? I'd love to send you one.

Blessings,

Gina

Gorgeous Kelli! Love the skate idea. I think that's what I will do with mine since I'm too chicken to skate anymore, one broken wrist a couple of years ago is enough to remind me not to.

Kelli your porch is beautiful! Definitely better than my porch with a smashed pumpkin and the summer decoration still out. I need to get out there and dress it up! (or at least clean it up!)

I have been looking for a couple of years now to find some ice skates(used) to decorate with. Since we rarely have snow and ice here, they are hard to find. But I'll keep looking and enjoy yours in the meantime. :~}

P.S. Glad you found something to do with the "acorns". Thanks again for sharing with me.

Kelli, how wonderful! you can leave this up even during the winter! I have a pair of skates and been trying to come up with and idea for them. Thank you, I going to borrow your idea! Love the snowmen and I see your sleigh!

Very pretty. Unfortunately if I sat stuff like that out on my front porch, it would either disappear or it would be covered with snow.

Hi Kelli!
While I really love the ice skates on the door, my favorite thing is, by far, the table!! I love how it is decorated and I just plain old love the fact that you have that adorable table there that you change with the seasons/holidays! I am definitely going to keep my eye out for a sweet table like that!!
