Christmas Living Room
Thank you for your comments on my Christmasy front porch! This is the third year I've hung the skates on the front door and so far no broken glass (fingers crossed!).
Today, I am showing you around our livingroom.
Our village nativity set is on top of our entertainment center.
Along with a lamp, cinnamon stick candles, a small cottage...
and woodland deer.
I bought a roll of live greenery at Walmart for under $9.00 and used it on the mantle, fireplace, entryway, kitchen hutch and front porch.
A cozy corner and a basket of our favorite Christmas books.
We had fun decorating our tree with gold ribbon, red bows, favorite ornaments and lots of candy canes.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit!
Your livingroom decorations are gorgeous. I think my favorite, though, is the dog lounging on the house. It just says "home" to me. :)
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! That live greenery says Christmas through and through! Love your decor!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely is that Kelli? We are still redecorating our sitting room, and no decorations will go up before the weekend I fear. The tree will go up very last moment as we are waiting till Tam comes home so they can dress the tree together as they always have. I see you have my FAVOURITE quilt on display too. I intend to make one for our bed (in my "spare" time!)
ReplyDeleteEverything's so pretty, Kelli. And the puppy resting her little head on the couch is so cute. Thanks for sharing it all! :)
ReplyDeleteThat dog has it made!...lol I love your Christmas decorations Kelli! Everything looks warm and homey as always. =o)
ReplyDeleteIt all looks beautiful, and the dog is the perfect touch!
ReplyDeleteIt's just beautiful! I love your decorations.
ReplyDeleteLove the stockings hung by the chimney with care!
ReplyDeleteAli

oh so beautiful - cosy for a cold day/night to just sit in and relax!
ReplyDeleteThank you for showing us. Very nice indeed.
ReplyDeleteAlfazema
Kelli, obviously we don't celebrate Christmas, but I love your living room - so cozy and inviting.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks wonderful....I love you iceskates on the door....I want some old ones! You don't see them much here. Beth
ReplyDeleteLove your pictures. My question is that with little ones how long does it stay so neat? I am no way near as neat as you. When I take my pictures to share it has to exclude the messy scenes. When I was a stay at home mom I used to tell my kids "Make your room look like the front on a magazine cover" Ha Ha. They remember those days when I used to the play the game of how many things can you pick up. They would count every little fork and washcloth they folded to win a prize.
ReplyDeleteYour living room looks beautiful. Love the tree...and the puppy. Your blog is always inspirational.
ReplyDeleteLove your pictures...I know how hard it is to get good ones as I have been trying. Happy Holidays.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great Kelli! Perfect for Christmas! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and peaceful Kelli!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your front door as well.
I used to hang a pair of old skates alongside a old wooden sled...
thank you for sharing each day!
Your tree is lovely as so the village. The stockings are hung and love the PEACE.
ReplyDeleteHi Kelli! Everything looks sooooo lovely. Really!
ReplyDeleteI am glad to see that Daisy is resting. We had a hard time keeping our dog down after she got spayed. She was a wild little puppy and we ended up taking her back to the vet because her little tummy got all swollen. It was nothing serious. He just said to keep her quiet. HE! HE!
Thanks for sharing you lovely, homey living room. Debbi
Your decorations are beautiful. I wish we could hang our stocking by the wood stove but we don't have a mantle. Sadie would love to go in our livingroom but with her shedding so much that is one room that's off limits to her.
ReplyDeleteJudy
It looks so cozy. :) I love the puppy dog on the couch. Looks strangely like my house.
ReplyDeleteIt all looks beautiful and so festive. I love red ribbons and candy canes. So do my kids!!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks simply lovely Kelli! Your living room is so warm and cozy. I think your puppy is enjoying your Christmas decor very much! Not much of a puppy anymore though!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, I think I like the scene under the lamp best. You've reminded me to get out my children's Christmas books to display. I do have an old board game called Santa's Special Delivery that I've brought down from the attic.
ReplyDeleteLovely!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a warm and lovely home you have all decked out for Christmas. Thanks for inviting us in.
