Show and Tell Friday!
Welcome to “Show and Tell Friday!” Do you have something special to share with us? It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, or a treasured collection. Look around your home for something to share; dig through those boxes in your closet if you have to! Share photos and the story that goes with your special item.
A few weeks ago I shared a hedgehog mug that my sister gave me for Christmas. When Marie from Spun By Me heard how much I love hedgehogs, she sent me a wonderful surprise in the mail...
A copy of Hedgie's Surprise by Jan Brett!
It is a sweet story filled with the cutest pictures. Thank you, Marie!
Another surprise I received in the mail this past Christmas was a homemade card from my friend, Heather.
A hedgehog snowman! I will add these wonderful gifts to my growing hedgehog collection...
The mug from my sister.
A tiny wool hedgehog; also a gift from my sister.
And finally, a Webkinz hedgehog. A gift from the girls and Benjamin this past Christmas. :0)
Thank you for taking a look at my show and tell!
Please read the Show and Tell Guidelines for step-by-step instructions on how to participate.

Cute collection but the last picture is pretty CUTE!
ReplyDeleteKelli, that little wool hedgehog is my favorite of your collection. I would love to hear how your hedgehog collecting started at some point ~ have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! What a cute collection! I can see why you like hedgehogs!
ReplyDeleteWait until I tell my 11 yo dd about your collection! She received a Webkinz hedgehog for her birthday last month-and she's a big Sonic the Hedgehog fan.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite one that you showed is the Jan Brett. It's so cute!
Happy Show & Tell Friday!
Those hedgehogs are mighty cute, especially the snowman and the mug. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your hedgehog collection. They are so cute. I especially like the snowman hedgehog.
ReplyDeleteThoseare all darling. The Webkinz one is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThat little wool hedgehog is one of the cutest things I've ever seen!
ReplyDeleteI love your collection. Some of my favorite rubber stamps are the hedgehogs from Penny Black!
ReplyDeleteWhen we lived in England you could buy crisps (aka potato chips) that were hedgehog flavored. Guess I really wasn't all that curious about what they tasted like. LOL But I do think they're cute!
What a charming collection your hedghogs make.
ReplyDeleteLove your little Webkinz and wool hedgehogs, Kelly. When my daughter was a little girl her favorite book was about a hedgehog. Just seeing yours brings back wonderful memories of my little girl snuggled up on my lap reading with me!
ReplyDeleteYou are the first person I know with a hedgehog collection and they are really cute ! I collect cats as you may know, my friends, owls, elephants, chicken etc. but not one collects hedgehogs !
ReplyDeleteYou do have a cute collection of hedgehogs!
ReplyDeleteOoooh yes, how cute indeed! I especially like the hedgehog snowman!
ReplyDeleteI still remember one romantic summer night some years ago. I was already dark outside but still pretty warm. J and me were sitting on one garden bench in front of the kitchen window when we suddenly spotted something running along our garden fence! It was a little hedgehog! ;-))
Have a great Friday my friend, take care!
XoX, Anita

Have a great weekend!
Kelli,
ReplyDeleteYou are so inspiring. Thank you for sharing your lovely work with us. :)
Your collection of Hedgehogs is so cute.
ReplyDeleteVery nice they are. As for me, it's not so much hedgehogs I like, I prefer robins, ducks and hens.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had such beautiful pieces with my favorite animals as you have with hedgehogs.

ReplyDeleteI am so glad that you liked your hedgehog card! I LOVE your collection. I will have to share pictures of my collection soon.
I especially want a real hedgehog! ;o)
If you liked Hedgie's Surprise, you will like The Hat by Jan Brett. It is another Hedgie story and it was inspired by her pet hedgehog Buffy.
Love, Heather
Very cute...I never thought of a hedgehog as being cute until now.
ReplyDeleteCute collection you have, Kelli.
ReplyDeleteCome check out MY special stuff this week
I love those too Kelli! I used to have a hedgehog, Griff. He was the cutest little guy. He was so gentle...when we petted him he laid down his quils to noone would get poked. Great little guy.....

ReplyDeletePenny
I love your Hedgie collection - so fun! Our son used to have a pair of overalls with a big hedgie on the front - I think he was three at the time! I didn't know hedgies were popular until he wore those and got all kinds of comments. We gave them away long ago, otherwise I'd send them on to you for your collection! They would be perfect on a big soft teddy bear! Our sweet girl also got the Hedgehog for Christmas and she named her Holly.
ReplyDeleteI am new to Show and Tell Friday. My mom, Lisa (akawest), said this is fun, so I joined.
ReplyDeleteYour hedgehogs are cute. They are one of my favorite animals. I love all animals except Warthogs.

One of my daughter's favorite books when she was little (she's 21 now) was called "Hedgehog Bakes a Cake." I think it was her favorite because it had a recipe for cake in it, so we would make it and of course eat the batter in the process :-)
ReplyDeleteAdorable! When I was little, we had a book called "A Porcupine Named Fluffy", and I read that book hundreds of times. I don't know if we still have it... It's one I will want someday when I have my own house & kids. :) Thanx for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAll your hedgehogs are so cute. You've got quite a collection going there.
ReplyDeleteMy German mil saw hedgehogs everywhere and played with them when she was a girl. Can't find them here, but I found it interesting that you collect them now. I love Jan Brett's website; she even has murals! Very cute, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWell, I have no idea what happened. I signed up on Mr. Linky for this week's show and tell, and somehow it didn't get through! Neither did my comment on your collection of hedgehogs. Weird.
ReplyDeleteI love your little hedgehog collection. They're adorable, and almost make me want to start collecting them!!
Thanks for sharing, I'll try sharing my Show and Tell next week - cause I can't seem to add it now.
