Show and Tell Friday!
Welcome to “Show and Tell Friday!” Do you have something special to share with us? It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, or a treasured collection. Look around your home for something to share; dig through those boxes in your closet if you have to! Share photos and the story that goes with your special item.
Today I am sharing an early birthday present that my email friend, Cathy made for me. She wrapped it with pretty yellow (my favorite color) paper and ribbon.
A homemade butterfly themed "collage book." Cathy filled it with poetry, artwork and beautiful embellishments. Take a peek inside...
Isn't it wonderful?! Cathy put a lot of hard work and love into it and I am thankful for her thoughtfulness and friendship. Thank you for taking a look at my show and tell!
Please read the Show and Tell Guidelines for step-by-step instructions on how to participate.
If you would like to join in, please leave your *permalink* below, along with your first name only (this makes the list easier to read). If your link has been removed from Mr. Linky, please re-read over the guidelines before re-posting. Have fun!
What a great gift!

Hi Kelli! This is a precious gift! One you will keep forever, I'm sure. I apologize for missing the guidelines on participating for my first Show & Tell today. I noticed you'd removed my link, and decided to sift through the updated guidelines and learned why. I did add a pic of something I own and told something about it, and combined it with my shopping spree post. I'm so sorry...I was just so excited to post...I missed that piece! Please forgive...thanks kindly! ~Ciao - ~CC

This is my first time participating in Show and Tell Friday. Thank you so much for hosting it. I enjoy looking at everyone's special treasures.
Hi Kelli. I haven't played show and tell in a long time and I also haven't said hello to you in a long time either. We were in your neck of the woods during Christmas to bury my MIL. Some day I'll come to Texas for a fun trip and I'll swing by your place and say hello. :)
ReplyDeleteAre you staying warm? Did you get ice or bad weather? My mom lives in Richardson and I haven't spoken with her all week.
God bless you. Have a good one.
OH...and that gift is amazing. How gorgeous and thoughtful. She must really love you to work so hard on something so beautiful. You are blessed with sweet people in your life. Happy Birthday.

Hi Kelli....really enjoyed seeing the gift from your friend. You can tell there was so much thought put into it and those are the best kind of gifts.
ReplyDeleteOne other thing. Can you tell me why whenever I post on your Show and Tell my name shows up with a smiley face beside it. I didn't put it there and I can't seem to get it off. I know it's annoying and I'm not trying to stand out on the list or anything....I just don't know why it does that. Any ideas on what to do about it? It's really bothering me LOL. Thanks!

What a sweet, sweet idea!!
ReplyDeleteKelli....me again from a few comments above. I was concerned about the happy face showing up by my name. I have several friends who visit your site and they said it doesn't show up by my name when they log on. So maybe I'm concerned about nothing. I guess its just showing up when I log on. Reading over this it sounds really crazy. I guess now its official. :)
