Show and Tell Friday!


Welcome to “Show and Tell Friday!” Do you have something special to share with us? It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, or a treasured collection. Look around your home for something to share; dig through those boxes in your closet if you have to! Share photos and the story that goes with your special item.


Hello! I promised to share pictures of a few things the girls and I picked up last weekend at a antique/tea shop, so here they are...

And our favorite...a chicken egg holder for the fridge! Thank you for taking a look at our new treasures!

    Hi Kelli! I could hardly wait for your "Show and Tell". Everything is so cute but my fav. is the vintage wrapping paper. I am going to have to keep on the lookout for some for me. It won't be long and garage sale time will be here. YEA!

  23. Everything is so "Eastery"!!! I love it. That wire egg 'hen's basket' is fabulous. I wanna find one like that for sure. Guess that calls for a shopping trip. hehehehehe

    My Show n Tell this week is a teen aged birthday boy AND some of his favorite elves he found while traipsing through our back yard.

  45. Everything is adorable, Kelli. My grandmother gave me, many years ago, leftovers from her wrapping paper stash.. I believe it is the same vintage as the paper you found. Too cute.

    Girl, I love those felted bunnies...and those little tails...precious!!! I wonder how they make those? What a treasure find! Also, love those vintage baby gift wrap papers...oooh, I can only imagine the pretties that you're going to make with those! I seen the beautiful cards that you made...you've inspired me to try my hand at making a few!!!

    I love the bunnies and the egg holder but the thing that struck me the most was the vintage wrapping paper. The pictures are gorgeous and the one of the baby in the crib is so like one of my birth cards - oh dear .... I think that might make me vintage!!!

  64. I love the felted bunnies! Felting is so fun! I love to felt my sheep's wool. I love the chicken wire egg holder! Just love it. The vintage paper is so pretty! I bought today a wire screen food cover, about the size of a bowl, at a thrift shop. Someone has embroidery bumble bees and yellow flowers on it! Love the egg holder, mine are just hens with bowls, yours is really great.
