Show and Tell Friday!

Happy Friday! My friend, Jackie had a giveaway a few weeks ago, and I won this beautiful pillow that she made and embroidered! It is the perfect addition to my Sunbonnet Sue collection. Take a look at Jackie's detail work...

ReplyDeleteWhat a walk down memory lane for me. My granny use to make & crochet the Southern Belle pillows and pillow cases. I still have some of her old patterns. She taught me to crochet when I was eight. Thanks for this wonderful post.

Oh, my goodness! I LOVE sunbonnet girls, and I love pink! My grandma made me a sunbonnet quilt when I was 14, and I still have it. Thank you for showing us!

ReplyDeleteI remember when I was much younger, I used to do some needle work similar to that but not nearly so fancy in the stitch work. It's beautiful and you do a great job. I would be proud of that myself. Thanks for show and telling.
