Show and Tell Friday!

Welcome to “Show and Tell Friday!” Do you have something special to share with us? It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, or a treasured collection. Look around your home for something to share; dig through those boxes in your closet if you have to! Share photos and the story that goes with your special item.

Bookshelves
Hello! My friend Sandra, at Ravenhill Cottage recently shared pictures of her bookshelves and books, so I thought I would join in. The ones I'm sharing today don't include the wall of shelves in Phillip's office!

Bookshelves
We have four shelves in our schoolroom for history, geography, science and novels.

Dolls
I also keep our collection of Wizard of Oz dolls here. We got them at McDonalds several years ago.

Bookshelves
This bookshelf is in our hallway. We have more novels, devotionals, art, poetry and children's story books here.

Bookshelves
And finally, a shelf in our bedroom for magazines and non-fiction.

Dolls
There is also a spot for my Matryoshka dolls, found at a yardsale. Thank you for stopping by and taking a look. Have a wonderful weekend!

Remember, that your Show and Tell needs to be something from your home or garden. Please read the Show and Tell Guidelines for step-by-step instructions on how to participate.

If you would like to join in, please leave your exact show and tell blog post link, along with your first name only (this makes the list easier to read). If your link has been removed from Mr. Linky, please re-read over the guidelines before re-posting, or e-mail me with any questions.

  1. Thank you so much for being our host! I know it takes something extra to set this up every week and I really appreciate it. Especially now that I want everyone to help me stay on track with my "Lose the Piles" project.

  16. Kelli, I wanted to collect those dolls but didn't know about it until too late. I have the one on the end. I think she is the witch the house fell on.
I spy something that looks like a sewing machine figurine on the lower shelf of the one in your bedroom. Have you shared that with us?
Looks like the family has lots of reading material. I used to keep all the books we bought but now I give most of them away. I only keep the ones I know I'll read again. I have many children's books which I think are special. I'll show those sometime.
    Thanks for hosting,
    Mama Bear

  18. Oh, I had a set of the Matryoshka dolls that I purchased at the Katherine the Great Exhibit in 1991. Somewhere along the way I got rid of them :o( This brought back that pleasant memory of seeing that Exhibit with our Sister-in-law in Memphis!!!

  21. What a great idea to show your bookshelves! Most of ours were made by Mr. T and some have some special stenciled designs on them. However, I'm afraid my bookshelves are not neat enough to display! I'll think about it, though...

Thanks for sharing and again, for hosting, too. This is so much fun for all who take part. Have a great weekend!

    God bless,
    Mrs.T
