Peanut Butter Blossoms

IMG_3485.JPG.jpeg
I like having a daughter who can bake all by herself. Grace made these delicious Peanut Butter Blossoms for a Christmas party this evening. I hope they last until then!

The cookies look wonderful, Kelli. The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree, I see.

    Glad to see you blogging.

    I just love your site.

  3. Squeeeeeeal, chocolate and peanut butter! Can it get it any better than that, chick? Love it. Teach them to cook while young. My 30 yr old granddaughter is just learning to cook while expecting her first baby. That's what grandmas are for, right?

  4. Having a daughter who bakes is both a blessing and a trial! LOL Our daughter is a wonderful baker, but the temptation when she bakes is awful! ;) Your daughter's cookies look delicious.

  5. Love your blog, you inspired me and my daughter to make these this afternoon BUT I have to say, in the nicest way, after making this recipe I got out mine and I do prefer it. More sugar, less peanut butter, no milk- less heat. These were kinda crumbly, but we did double it. Were yours? Just curious.

Boy, Grace, I wished you lived near me. I sure could use your help. I have to bake the cookies for our fellowship time at Church next Sunday. I was thinking about making the same cookies you made for your party....plus a couple of other kinds. It looks like you are getting pretty good in the kitchen. I am sure those cookies were yummy!

Have fun at the party. I bet it is your Faith Keepers Group. Love, Debbi

  10. Hi Jill!
I'm glad you and your daughter got to make some cookies, too! We took our cookies out a little early and let them finish baking on the pans, so they were very soft. I did think they could use a bit more sugar though. :0)

I saw these in Good Housekeeping Magazine and they are on my list to make, possibly today. I want to make some of my Christmas goodies ahead so I'd best get started. Today is the 8th after all.
I know it is wonderful to just let the girls choose something to make in the kitchen. I used to do that with mine. What a help it is.

There's just something so heartwarming and charming about your blog.. Reading your blog is like sitting down in a comfy chair with a cup of tea and a Susan Branch Heart of Home book. ♥

  20. Yummy cookies - and I agree - having another baker in the house is such a blessing - our Dreamer is quite accomplished with her Snickerdoodles and oatmeal cookies!
