Springtime

A new bud on our oak tree. The leaves turned brown shortly after planting it last summer, so this was a nice surprise.

Springtime is the land awakening.
The March winds are the morning yawn.

    I noticed today that our oak tree is starting to leaf out. It's definitely spring here in Oregon.
