  1. Hi Kelli,
I enjoy your newsletter and blog. I'm alot older than you, but I was fascinated by the beautiful photo behind the seam binding ribbon. I love anything vintage, and just love the old sepia-tone photos. Also, I am interested to know more about the seam binding ribbon, and where you can get it? I love to sew, but mostly doll (fashion) clothes for my granddaughters, and always interested in old or new sewing tips. I'm not quite sure I've ever heard about seam binding ribbon or seen it on rolls like in your post. I could be wrong though. I'm on Pinterest, and you'll see I am quite the Barbie fan, as well as a multitude of other things. I don't blog...wouldn't know where to even begin and between sewing and reading, I keep quite busy. Well I've rambled enough...this is my first comment to a blog. :-) My name is Sandra Greathouse.

  2. Hi Sandra,
Thank you for stopping by! The seam binding ribbon isn't like regular seam binding - it's much softer and silkier. Here is the Etsy shop where I buy it:

I will try to share more pictures of the photos. I have 20+ all from the same family. :)
