Show and Tell Friday

Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!" Do you have a something special to share with us? It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, an antique find. Your show and tell can be old or new. Use your imagination and dig through those old boxes in your closet if you have to! Feel free to share pictures and if there's a story behind your special something, that's even better!

My Show and Tell is this Pansy teapot and Violet dessert teacup sets. I found them at the resale store a few years ago. They are perfect if you want to have a snack with your tea.

One of the cups has a small chip but this is known as Shabby Chic. ;0)

Anyone care to join me for tea?

Thank you for looking at my Show and Tell!

If you would like to join in, all you have to do is post your "Show and Tell" on your blog, copy the post link, come over here and add it to Mr. Linky.

Please don't use Mr. Linky unless you have a Show and Tell and be sure to link back here in your post so that others can share and read through all the links.

  2. Oh Kelli, your Pansy teapot and violet dessert teacup sets are wonderful. I adore that style! And as you know, I LoVe panies and violets!

Thanks for your mail, I'll try to anser in detail tonight!

We are just having breakfast, it's 7.30 a.m. and we are having a day off! And guess what, the sun is already shining and it looks very promising outside!

I'll have to find some nice places for my pottery balls in the garden today - I am not quite sure where to put them (they would look great almost everywhere)!

By the way, we have four little blackbirds in the nest of our balcony! They hatched just some days ago! I was deeply touched when I saw them for the first time!

Have a wonderful day Kelli, filled with lots of interesting Show and Tell stories!

    XoX,
    Anita

  6. Hi Kelli, (Mine is a little different today!)
I think those tea cup and tray sets are so smart! I saw some in an antique store not too long ago, and boy, they were pricey! I wish I could find some like yours. They look wonderful for just picking up and carrying outside for tea on the "veranda" ;0) That is if I actually HAD a veranda. LOL!
Your set is very pretty and reminds me of the violet china my mother-in-love used to have.
    Have a wonderful week-end, Kelli!
    Blessings and Hugs,
    Karen

  17. Beautiful set! Why do we ladies get so excited about dishes? LOL

I was so happy to see my friend Lyndy participating today!

  18. hehehe Pam, you're right, we ladies do seem to get excited over dishes.
I have the same set up, kind of. A big cup for soup with the same shape plate for crackers, or say for cereal or oatmeal and fruit. Mine isn't as pretty though as it's olive green and from IKEA. I think it's so useful though. Little Jacob always fights me for it though because I only have one. He usually wins. :)
