Weekend Chit~Chat
Thank you very much for entering my spring banner giveaway and your sweet comments. I used Random.org to pick a winner and I'm here to announce that GinnyBerry from Blackberry Blessings has won! Congratulations GinnyBerry!
I have been working on my back patio lately. This is what it looked like a few days ago. Since then, I have cleaned and organized my gardening tools and removed the old carpet.
Our BBQ went a little crazy last year.
I am working slowly and quietly since the mama mourning dove is close by. If you click on the picture you will see her feeding her babies.
Along with working on my patio, I'm been making progress in my gardens.
I got my water garden cleaned out, soon the surface will be covered with green water lilies.
The goldfish are happy to have the fountain working again.
I'm off to get to work and enjoy the weekend with my family. I hope you all have a good one too!
I love the mamma dove picture.

You've been busy! I love seeing your mama bird and I also think it is so wonderful that she returns each year.
ReplyDeleteYour pond is so pretty. Does it require much upkeep? I would love to have one of those.
My sister (blackberry blessings) is so happy to have won!
ReplyDeleteThanks for blessing her life today!
Love your blog!
Everything looks so pretty. I love the water garden. I can't wait to see what you do to that porch. My front Munster looking porch is coming along wait till Friday you'll be impressed I hope!

ReplyDeleteHi Kelli :) The pics are wonderful! I hope that you have a wonderful weekend, too. Love, Q
ReplyDeleteLooks great. Can't wait to see it when you are done.the little pond is so neat.
ReplyDeletegreat pictures! I really like your pond. Didn't you have a little frog visiting your pond area last year? maybe someone else.....?
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about your pond dimensions and depth...how you made it, etc etc. I've been contemplating making one but just a tiny one and yours looks kinda like the size I'd want to do...
It's a good thing to start work on that 'good place to sit outside' early, this way you'll have that much more time to rest outside once the good weather stays with us for good :) Hope your weekend is going great!
ReplyDeleteHi Kelli,
ReplyDeleteIt's looking very much like spring around your garden! Love the picture of the Mama bird. We need to tackle cleaning our pond this week. Yours looks great!

ReplyDeleteI can hardly wait for spring to arrive. To be outside painting the fence, digging in the dirt brings me an inner peace and happiness.
ReplyDeleteMomma dove looks very happy to be looking after her babies.
God bless.
I love your little fish pond. very pretty. How cute that the birdie made a nest on your back porch area. What did she make the nest in? Did you have a box on top of the cabinet and she just elped herself or what? Anyway, it's adorable.

Oh so much work, but what a pay off! Do you have to feed the goldfish? Do they stay out all winter? I am hoping to find a bird's nest here this spring as we have lots of birds and trees around.
