This week's homemade card project is called "
Nine Patch."
You will need a 5" x 5" cardstock notecard.
Cut out 9 - 1 1/2" squares from scrapbook paper.
Glue to the front of cardstock.
Hot glue a bow to the top center square.
Quick and easy!
Here is a different variation.
Add some color to the edges and surface of the cardstock circle by dabbing it with an inkpad.
Add a bow and a charm. Stickers would work great, too!
All ready to send to a friend! Thank you for looking at this week's project. Let me know if you make one!
Beautiful cards, Kelli. I just love all the clever things that you do.
ReplyDeleteHi Kelli,
ReplyDeleteThat's simply perfect! I was looking for a quick craft for a ladies' group... I think I found it. Thanks for sharing!
Just lovely. I used this idea on a scrapbook page with tiny little squares that I cut from throw away pieces of snapshots. Tiny little things like a far away basketball hoop, a lightswitch, a shoe, things like that. It turned out very cute. I may link to you with this idea and show mine as a different version if you don't mind.
ReplyDeleteKelli, I LOVE this! They are beautiful. I will definitely be making one. I'll let you know when I do. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOh, how absolutely beautiful: the quotes, the poem, the cards. What a way to start a May! Thanks, Kelli

ReplyDeleteI so admire people who can make such beautiful cards. I am all thumbs. There is a blog on blogger called Life with Hannah and Lily and she and her mom have weekends where they get together and make cards and she posts them on her blog. They are just gorgeous!
