Show and Tell Friday!
Welcome to “Show and Tell Friday!” Do you have something special to share with us? It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, or a treasured collection. Look around your home for something to share; dig through those boxes in your closet if you have to! Share photos and the story that goes with your special item.
Earlier this week I shared pictures of the canisters on my kitchen hutch. Today I'm going to show you the entire hutch.
A bought it used a few years ago, gave it a fresh coat of paint and added new knobs.
I actually like to call it my "pie safe" since Phillip took out the glass doors and replaced them with screen.
A couple of days ago I added some hooks to make more room for my teacups.
Everything was found at a resale store, yard sale or was a gift.
I put all of my summer dishes on the bottom shelf.
Along with my tea tray. Thank you for taking a look at my kitchen hutch!
~*~*~Show and Tell idea for next week: A special childhood keepsake.~*~*~

ReplyDeleteYou have done a wonderful job with your pie safe and your lovely dishes. Having them beautifully displayed in that way guarantees you will use and enjoy them with your family and friends. It is so good to be thankful and appreciative of the things we have been blessed with and to create beauty everyday. You are a pro at that! :-) Have a great weekend and thanks for the show and tell.

ReplyDeleteI saw your post about the cannister set. My friend who is moving to Arizona soon has asked if I would like a set she has on top of her cabinets. Of course I said yes. I'll share them when I have them.

Hi Kelli, How did you line your shelves? Is that fabric with lace? I don't think your pies are very safe in there with your family around! (grins)
