Cozy Corner For Autumn

Baskets
Good Morning! I did a little rearranging this past weekend. In addition to the storage drawers, I got this hanging basket stand at the same yard sale for $5.00.

Baskets
The blankets and pillows didn't match my bedroom colors, so I took them out and gave the baskets a good cleaning.

Chair
Next, I moved my patio chair into the corner.

Stool
Along with a little foot stool.

Baskets
Now the baskets hold a burgundy throw and past Autumn issues of my favorite magazines.

Daisy
Uh-oh...it looks like Daisy likes my new reading corner, too.

Daisy
I don't think she plans on sharing! Thank you for taking a look and I hope you have a great day. It's the start of 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade for us!

  2. I just wanted you to know I just love your blog!! In fact, I mentioned it in my latest post on my blog! LOL

I had to run out to Michaels and get some of those pumpkin beads like you got! They are adorable!! I also saw the acorn ones and will probably have to get a bag of those eventually.

Your yard sale finds are fantastic! Wish I could find great things like that here. Thanks for all the wonderful pictures.

    God bless you ~ Julie

  18. Hi. I love your reading corner and baskets for storage!

Do you need something from Alaska or Vancouver for the kids? It's been long enough now, I can't remember what goes where in the grades so far as geography goes...although I think local geo/hist is in 2nd, isn't it?

  32. Hi Kelli ,
I think you did a greAt job with your cozy little corner . It looks like something I would have done .
It also reminds me of the little pink stuffed chair I got at an estate sale and put in the corner in my kitchen ...... then ..... my dog Java took it over . So I guess I got him a dog bed for 5.00 ! Pay a visit to my blog and look for the picture of Java in my pink chair when you have a chance . Sue

  45. I love the pictures of Daisy! She looks so comfortable. All she needs is a good book to read! :) My cat, Bailey, would always know where I was about to sit and would jump there just about before I could sit down!! I suppose it's nice to have a reading partner! :)

    Cute site!
