Hello! Thank you for your comments on my new reading corner! Today, it is only getting up to 80F, which definitely counts as fall weather in Texas. ;0)
I will be putting out my fall decorations slowly this month, but I did find these place mats at the Dollar Tree. I couldn't have made them that cheaply!
We used them for our Labor Day dinner and they washed and ironed up great afterwards.
They also had these Maple Pecan Roll candles that smell as wonderful as they sound.
Speaking of wonderful, I made Sandra's Applesauce Puffs this past Monday. I used my mini muffin pan and got 24 puffs that were perfect for a first day of school snack. Thank you for the recipe, Sandra!
Let me know if you try them!
ETA: I just found out about The Inspired Room Fall Nesting Week. Please visit there for more fall tours!
Your table looks very pretty, Kelli! The applesauce puffs look rather delicious :) Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDelete80 degrees - that would be a summer heat wave in Ireland! Off to check out the recipe.
ReplyDeleteWow I wish we had that sort of heat here in England and it's meant to be summer.
ReplyDeleteThe applesauce puffs look Yummy, I think that will be one for my recipe file.

They look awesome I should really try them. Your table setting looks great as always.
ReplyDeleteThose look so good! :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Kel! You're such an inspiration with decor. Those applesauce puffs look incredible! Grace is doing homeschool preschool with me starting next week and our first thematic unit is apples. I think we'll add these in as a cooking segment. :o) Yum!
ReplyDeleteThose Dollar Tree placemats are beautiful! Ughhh... we're still in the high 90's here!
ReplyDeleteKelli, those Maple Pecan Roll candles from the dollar store are the same candles we are using for our centerpieces at the wedding...gotta love the dollar store!!!
ReplyDeleteThe puffs look yummy!
ReplyDeleteI wish it was 80 degrees here ~ its supposed to be 91 today!
ReplyDeleteYour table looks very pretty, I love that tablecloth!
I always find it hard to incorporate Autumn colors in my mostly pink home! I'm thinking of just adding touches of brown here and there.
Those applesauce puffs look so good!!
The placemats look great and so do those applesauce puffs. Yummy!

When I saw the applesauce puffs at Sandra's I knew it was something I wanted to try. Thanks for the reminder to make those yummy things!
ReplyDeleteIt does feel like fall around here. Especially the dreary, rainy weather Gustav brought with him! :) It feels like fall to me too! I'm hoping to get some decor out soon.
ReplyDeleteThe applesauce puffs look w o n d e r f u l . The table is pretty.
ReplyDeleteYum yum yum! Beautiful place mats and delicious snacks!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and yummy as always!
ReplyDeleteThose puffs look sooo yummy and I'm sure that candle smells yummy too!
ReplyDeleteThat hanging basket piece is just wonderful. What a great find - perfect for magazines or in the kitchen! Daisy is a cutie. She reminds me of my Maxie when he was a little puppy (cause he thinks he's just a big puppy now even though he's 10 years old)!

Fall is hitting here too, which also means upper 70's low 80's for our highs, but we hit low 40's for our lows on the same day.
ReplyDeleteThe table looks gorgeous, and I can almost smell the candle!
Have a wonderful day!
TJ
I am having a difficult time wanting Fall to arrive. It is still summer to my brain when it is so hot outside. I do love your decorations. And I enjoyed your long weekend post. And that sweet dog of yours looks perfect in your cozy reading spot. I hope she let you use it. :-)

ReplyDeleteI am so tempted to decorate for fall but I can't bring myself to do so. It is in the 90's here and it would just be wrong of me! :)

3. Wonderful post...as usual!
Pretty! I haven't started any fall decorating yet, it's still in the 90s here! I won't do anything until after these storms stop harrassing us!
