Show and Tell Friday!

Welcome to “Show and Tell Friday!” Do you have something special to share with us? It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, or a treasured collection. Look around your home for something to share; dig through those boxes in your closet if you have to! Share photos and the story that goes with your special item.

Jewelry box
Today, I would like to share some special things in my bathroom. Some of them you will recognize from past show and tells.

Tray
The gold mirrored tray was a yard sale find.

Treasures
It's just a little spot to keep my perfume, trinket boxes and jewelry.

Perfume
These two perfume bottles were gifts from my mom and sister.

Cup
Another gift from my mom: a tiny rosebud cup.

Rings
The perfect size for rings.

Treasures
More gifts and special jewelry.

Plate
A mini plate with a pretty scene.

Jewelry
It holds several pairs of favorite earrings.

Thank you for looking at my special things! Also, thank you for your comments on my simple fall pleasures and homemade cards. I got the set of chestnut kitchen soaps at Marshalls.

  1. Beautiful bathroom items. The bathroom in the house I'm in now is tiny. I have to keep my bathroom treasures in my bedroom :)

  3. I love the cameo. I have a tray like that. A friend gave it to me for my 16th birthday. It is a vanity tray. Now they call it 'vintage'. Not sure if I like the sound of that... ;-)

    Beautiful items!

I have a tray almost just like this one. I have had it for many years but am not using it right now. Maybe I should dig it out and put it to use again. I like your earrings.
    Happy S & T Friday.

  26. Personally? My opinion...first, you home must be a showcase for Better Homes and Gardens...and secondly, I LOVE how you always have close-ups of certain things. You really make Show n Tell most enjoyable.

Mine this week, is ALL Thanksgiving Decorations.

    Happy Friday, Happy weekend!

  37. Your photos look GREAT Kelli *wink*

What a fabulous collection you have. You know, it reminds me, whenever I take home and home decorating books out of the library, I look at the 'modern' houses and they look so organized etc... and for a few moments I wish mine could be like this, then I STOP myself, for I'm like you, I love little bits of odds and ends about of interest.

I would never like to be completely - de-cluttered. I suppose its "one woman's clutter is another woman's treasure" haha!

Thanks for sharing and for hosting this wonderful friday tradition.

    {hugs} Barb

  49. Kelli,

I really enjoy your blog. Sorry for number 55. This is my first time getting a photo on my blog and my first time to be on show and tell. My daughter had to help me over the phone to do it right. She and I have done some of your crafts. I have tried some of your recipes. Although I don't know how some of you bloggers make a recipe and take pictures of each stage while you're doing it and then put it on your blog. I think the blogs are a great way of sharing and connecting that is free in such turbulent times. Thank you.
