Winter Pinecone Wreath~Show and Tell Friday!
Welcome to “Show and Tell Friday!” Do you have something special to share with us? It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, or a treasured collection. Look around your home for something to share; dig through those boxes in your closet if you have to! Share photos and the story that goes with your special item.
Today, I am sharing a winter wreath that I made last week.
I got a twig wreath from Hobby Lobby.
Hot glued pinecones all around the inner edge.
And added a satin ribbon bow.
Thank you for taking a look at my quick and easy winter wreath! I am determined to get my Christmas decorations down and give my house a good deep clean this weekend...wish me luck! :0)

ReplyDeleteKelli,
ReplyDeleteI love the wreath! I am a big fan of wreaths; however, I've never made one of my own. I actually have a wreath like the one you've made, but without the pinecones and ribbon. I might have to be a copycat! :)
That looks lovely - what a great idea to glue the pinecones on!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh Kellie I love this! I am going to Hobby Lobby tomorrow for the first time...I am so excited. Since I live in such a small town I don't have access to places like that. I might have to pick a wreath up like this and try it. Lexi even says that is a pretty wreath to and wants one on her door. She is only 4 so guess she is getting into decor now. lol
ReplyDeleteKelli,
ReplyDeleteHow lovely that wreath is! I love the wonderful bow; the color is perfect! You are very inspiring.
And, no, you are not the only one with decor still up. Most of mine is down but will finish the rest in the next day or so. Have a blessed weekend. :)
Is imitation really the sincerest form of flattery? Because I want one just like it! So cute.
ReplyDeleteKelly, Thanks for hosting. This is fun and it looks like lots of others enjoy it too. I love your wreath. It looks so pretty on your door! Happy cleaning. I just finished tonight and it does feel good!
ReplyDeleteHeather
That's lovely, Kelli.
ReplyDeleteI just found some floral stems I had been looking at last year, but thought were too expensive, on sale half price at Hobby Lobby this week -- I was so delighted! I didn't get them put together like I wanted to in a door decoration for today's S&T, but I wondered if they were too springy. I haven't decided whether to go ahead with them now as is to "think spring," or whether to go with something more wintry.
I just love these golden brown colors! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful wreath! I am so glad that Zaroga told me about you site! I have a great excuse Not to clean, LOL, got to work on the church scrapbook! I think I will go clean the bathroom in a little while though!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful wreath!! I love the colours...I always have tons of pinecones that fall off our trees in the backyard and now I know what to do with some of them:-) Hope you're having a wonderful weekend my friend...even if it is taking down Christmas decorations. lol xoxo
ReplyDeleteYour winter pinecone wreath is beautiful! It turned out great. You are very talented.
ReplyDeleteI've finally posted so you can come by when you get a chance.
Absolutely stunning Kelli. I managed to get my Christmas decorations down last weekend, and now it is time to figure out some Valentines decorations.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
The wreath is sweet. I wanted you to know that I found some incredible acorns at a local retailer and immediately thought of you. They wouldn't have survived the shipping process (or prices) or else I would have snapped them up to send to you.
ReplyDeleteHope you were able to get the much needed deep clean done.
I love your wreath! It really looks nice on your door! I am still trying to get my Christmas things down as well. Maybe this next week...ugh...lol
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous wreath. One of the few craft projects I can actually manage! And such an easy way to mark the changing of the seasons and special holidays.
ReplyDeleteAli @ A Cosy Life
Beautiful! I love that I can look at your things and think, "I can do that!"
ReplyDeleteI would love to join Show and Tell Friday, but am a bit confused about the Mr. Linky part. I belong to Friday Flea Market and have Mr. Linky there, so would I add another Mr. Linky for this?
ReplyDeleteI love your blog, please let me know how to do this. Thanks and please visit my blog!
Mimi
