Welcome to this week's handmade card project!
Gather your supplies. You will need:
-5 1/2" x 4" blank notecard
-Scrapbook paper
-Cardstock
-Rubber stamp or stickers
-Ribbon
Cut a 5 1/4" x 2" rectangle (the top) and a 5 1/2" x 1 3/4" rectangle (the bottom) from scrapbook paper.
Cut a 5 1/4" x 1/4" strip from cardstock. Cut a 5 1/4" x 1" strip from scrapbook paper. Cut bottom edge with paper punch or use decorative scissors.
Glue larger rectangle to top of card and decorative cut strip to bottom of card, as shown.
Glue smaller rectangle to front of card, overlapping both paper seams. Finally, glue cardstock strip along seam of the two rectangles.
Cut an approx. 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" oval from cardstock. Add rubber stamp image or stickers. Glue to front of card, as shown. I also shaded the edges with a foam ink pad.
Cut two 10" lengths of ribbon and tie into bows. Trim ends and attach to both sides of oval. I used hot glue.
