My parents are coming for a visit at the end of the week and I'm so excited! I haven't seen them in two years! I have a
wish "to-do" list. I know it won't all get done and that's ok. I just feel better to have a plan written down somewhere. And what better place than my blog? ;0)
*Here is my weekly schedule:*
Monday - Having a missionary friend over for a late dinner. I'm going to make potato soup, homemade bread, and salad. Haven't figured out dessert yet.Tuesday - Piano student comes for lesson at 4:45pm.Wednesday-No plans yet.Thursday - Visit friends. I go to my piano lesson in the evening.Friday - Visit friends in the morning. Get-together with some church friends at our house, in the evening. I need to plan some simple "make ahead" food. Any ideas?!
Saturday - My family arrives!

Oh Kelli, I'm so happy that your family is coming to visit you! Some of your "to do's" made me laugh, like the first one and the one about the van:) Don't overdue and work too hard so you can't enjoy their visit. Your house always looks so lovely as well as your meals looking so "yummy." Just enjoy every second of their visit. * Says Susan who has a "to do" list like yours when her family is coming for a visit:)LOL
ReplyDeleteWhat a blessing to have your family with you. Your list made me tired just reading it : )
ReplyDeleteOh, Kelli, how exciting!! Keep in mind, they are coming to see YOU and your family, and NOT your house!! I say this while cringing because I'd be doing the same thing....working like a maniac to have everything "just so" before their arrival! ;-) Kelli, do just enjoy their visit!!!!
ReplyDeleteKelli you have worn me out with that list!!!
ReplyDeleteI always try to keep in mind that when anyone comes and visits us as soon as they come in the house it doesn't matter how clean and pristine everything is, because, between the suitcases and extras that are brought and just the general fun of showing off things you've done the house truly shows itself as a HOME FILLED WITH LOVE which is what is really important.
ReplyDeleteYou look like you have a busy week ahead! Hope you have a wonderful visit with your family!
ReplyDeleteI'm so thrilled that your family is coming to visit :)
ReplyDeleteI was laughing at your to do list, the van one is priceless LOL
Hope you're having a stress free week and enjoy your family's visit :)
