Special Gifts

My wonderful friend Heather, from A Place of Quiet Rest recently celebrated a blogging anniversary.

In celebration of her 12 months of blogging she put together this very creative giveaway package and drew my name out of the basket!

12 sweet caramels
12 handmade note cards with envelopes
12 pretty buttons
12 Scripture Memory cards
12 tasty chocolates
12 of my favorite recipes
12 lengths of pretty ribbon
12 handmade paper bookmarks
12 tea lights
12 cheerful fabric yo-yo's
12 sprigs of lavender
12 cotton fat quarters

The box arrived last week and everything was wrapped beautifully!

As you can see, Heather was very generous!

Fat quarters, ribbon and fabric yo-yo's.

Wonderful homemade notecards and laminated scripture cards.

Also tucked in were yummy caramels and peanut butter chocolates...my favorite!

Heather included these beautiful embroidered towels as well.

Little did Heather know that my main bathroom is lavender with green highlights, so I was able to find a spot of many of her gifts right away!

For now I have the yo-yo's in a dish but I may make them into a garland.

In the fall and winter Grace and Emily like to have a candle lit at bathtime.

The tea tray all ready...

for a sweet treat!

Thank you again for all your thoughtful gifts, Heather! I love everything!!

You can stop by and visit Heather at A Place of Quiet Rest.

  21. I was feeling the pangs of envy until I got to the picture of the chocolates...and then my pangs blew up into full blown envy-i-tis. Yummy. Speaking of yummy, I plan on having your Potato Chowder for dinner tonight. I really should take pictures because if it comes out tasting even halfway good (I'm THAT bad of a cook) it will be a momentous occasion for sure! I'll have to post pictures (hope I haven't just jinxed myself!!).
