Good morning! I hope you all had a great weekend. I spent some time putting out my 4th of July decorations. I will leave most of them up through the summer.
I found this door hanger at Hobby Lobby (patriotic decorations are 30% off!). I filled it with greenery, daisies and small flags.
Small pail lanterns line our walkway.
Flags in the flower pots.
I made this table runner last year and my anniversary roses match perfectly. They probably won't last until Friday though, so I'll get some fresh daisies.
For the table runner I cut a strip of fabric with pinking shears and hot glued some pom-pom trim to the ends.
Some of you will remember this patriotic banner I made last week.
I put the leftover table runner fabric on the back patio table.
The centerpiece is a silver tray with various jars filled white beans. The "sparkers" are actually straws with the tops cut off.
Star confetti.
Thank you for looking at my patriotic decorations! We are having a 4th of July cook-out with Phillip's family and some friends from church. We will be busy this week getting ready for all the fun. I hope you have a great start to your week!
Your Decorations look so pretty and Patriotic! I love the color combo of RED, WHITE & BLUE!
ReplyDeleteGod Bless You & Your Family!
That really looks great Kelli. We don't have something like this, so no need for decorations this time of year, but I would sure love something like this. It cheers up the whole house !!

ReplyDeleteThe only holiday I really decorate for is Christmas. I may put a few things up for Thanksgiving but other than that I don't *do* the other holidays. Just not my thing.
ReplyDeleteI have all kinds of red, white, and blue stuff from when my hubby came home from Iraq I could have sent you! Oh well, the movers packed it and it's gone somewhere. :-)
God Bless You! Hope you are having a good week!

Everytime I see a picture of your china I have to run into my dining room and take a plate to the computer and compare. No, they are not exactly the same, but extremely close and very much from the same era I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteMy china is my mother-in-law's, who was married in the '40s. It has the same colors and style as yours. And BTW, our china hutches are of the same style too. Yours is a bit bigger, but they are the same design, probably the same company. Isn't that fun???
Your 4th decor is lovely. You have done a grat job of showing your patriotism. I am asuming you celebrated Canada Day earlier this week? I think I remember that you are from their originally.
I like all your patriotic decorations, especially the sparklers in the jar with beans!
ReplyDeleteThe shortcake sounds delish!
Thank you for your sweet comments on my blog!
