Homemade Card
Welcome to this week's homemade card project! You can get a lot of variations with this card depending on the paper you use.
You will need a 5 1/2" x 4" notecard.
Cut a 5 1/4" x 3 3/4" rectangle from scrapbook paper or sheet music. Dawn at ~The Feathered Nest~ recently shared a beautiful music image. Glue to front of notecard.
Cut out another 5 1/4 x 3 3/4" of a coordinating scrapbook paper and cut on diagonal line from top left corner to bottom right corner. Glue onto notecard.
You can also tear the edge for a different look.
Cut a small oval or circle from cardstock. Dab the edges with an ink pad if desired. Add a sticker or stamp.
Glue to front of notecard. Send to a friend!
Here is another variation. Thank you for taking a look!
Hi Kelli,
ReplyDeleteYou are so multi-talented. Is that a word? Anyway, is there anything you can't do? ;-) I like these cards so much better then store bought. I'm sure they are much more appreciated too.
Brandee :-)
BELLISSIMI!!! thank you for your tutorial
ReplyDeletePinta
Love the elegance the music paper gives to the first card.
ReplyDeleteKelli,
ReplyDeleteBoth are beautiful! I think I like the second one better. The first one reminds me of the Silence of the Lambs!
Blessings,
Gina

ReplyDeleteSo simple, but so very pretty! Wouldn't it be fun to use this pattern as a Christmas card, with lovely holiday papers?
ReplyDeleteI'm still new to making cards, but I get a lot of ideas from you! I like the music theme, our church bell choir resumes on September 3rd and I was thinking about making a card for everyone! This is perfect.
ReplyDeleteI love Thursdays because I love to see what kind of card you have to share :) A winner, as always!
ReplyDeleteAs always, the cards are just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI like them both-and you always have such clear directions. Some day I may actually try one.
That is a beautiful card! Carissa would love it since she loves music! :) She likes to scrapbook when she has time, so I'll have to give her this cute idea of yours.
ReplyDeleteI love your cards on Thursday! They are all so beautiful, how blessed I am that you share Kelli! Your apron is amazing as well, once the cold temperatures set in I am going to get busy for the holidays :)

ReplyDeleteThat looks very nice. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to make the music one because I've had some music paper for ages and never really known what to do with it.
I have a friend who it would be perfect for.
Thanks kelli.

ReplyDeleteAs always-so pretty, so creative:)
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful and so creative. It seems so easy, but it really has to start from vision and imagination. Thank you for sharing yours with me and everyone. I have all those of materials sitting around, I just never imagined putting them together as beautifully. I'm just not artsy-crafty so I need guidance :-)You are so talented.
