New Living Room Bookshelf

Hello! I've been so busy since my last post, I hardly know where to begin. Our new family room is finished and we all love it. New couches arrive on Tuesday and I will be sure to share pictures. I got the kitchen painted and in the process of starting one project, 10 more seemed to pop up. Phillip had a week off around Thanksgiving and we have cleaned, decluttered, and organized the whole house.

Some of you may remember the wet bar area in our living room that I needed help with.

We were able to find an unfinished bookshelf that covered it perfectly. Phillip stained it to match the wood walls and we are very happy with it.

Now that the TV is out of this room, it's the perfect spot for relaxing!

What a great idea! I really like your new bookshelf...makes a nice little separation in your room. I LOVE your chairs. Where did you get those? I've been looking for something similar for a long time. You can email me when you get a chance.

Thanks!

The bookcase works very well there. Those chairs and ottoman look so comfortable. It's nice to have a pleasant place to sit in the house in the winter. My favorite place in the summer is always outside. I looked back thru your posts and see that you have a nice place outside as well.
Have a lovely Christmas season!

It looks so comfortable and I love the idea of a much more practical bookcase.

I was wondering if you got any snow this week.

Is that a Sherrill couch and chair. I have that same exact couch and one chair. My fabric is a little different, but very similar in the main color. My pillows are black/taupe kind or.
Your room looks great!

Very nice! I would LOVE a livingroom WITHOUT the TV in it! Unfortunately I don't have anywhere else to put it! The room looks very relaxing!

Great idea to add demention, and not take out the wetbar that might be desirable to the next owners.
