Birthday Flowers

Grace's birthday flowers have blossomed and are cheering up the dining room.

It's cold outside and today, I'm enjoying a "Stay at Home" day. I've got my fuzzy socks on and an easy spaghetti dinner is on the menu. I hope your week is going well!

Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home.

    I love your poem because it sums up exactly how I feel about winter. In Ohio, we are experiencing light snow flurries and it is just beautiful! "Stay at home days are the best ones. Take care!

    Lovely Flowers! Gladiolus, I think? My grandmother used to grow those by the dozens, but we're in Maine, so I think of those as only being around in summertime. I miss her and I thank you for sharing the beautiful pictures. What a lovely surprise for a cold wintry February day.
