Hello! Is anyone still around? It seems like we've been in the middle of at least 1 home construction project for the past year and a half, which is why it's been so quiet around here.
We had friends over last night and we talked about how most of our back patio is a "kitchen graveyard" at the moment.
We are having our 1980's kitchen updated. We completely cleared everything out 3 weeks ago and hopefully in another 3 weeks, it will be finished.
Work in progress.
It doesn't stop us from using a small area of the patio though, at least before it gets too hot.
I also wanted to say "Happy Mother's Day" and especially to my mom, who will be here for a visit this coming week.
I hope to be around more often!

So glad to have you "back in blog world"! I have missed you and hearing about your new recipes, etc. How you will enjoy your new kitchen! Can't wait to see the finished project. We remodeled our kitchen last year. It is so hard to have the "center of your world" upside down! But, it is so worth it.

So glad to see a new post from you! Also I cannot wait to see the new kitchen. I know what you mean about remodeling and home projects - we redid our kitchen last summer. It was SO worth it in the end though!
