Homemade Card

Card
Welcome to this week's card making project! I spotted these butterfly stickers at Michaels last week, but you can use any kind of paper, stickers, or stamps.

Card
You will need a 5 x7" notecard.

Paper
Cut a 2" cardstock square with decorative stickers. Cut a slightly smaller square from scrapbook paper.

Paper
Glue scrapbook paper onto cardstock.

Paper
Cut three 5 1/2 x 1/2" strips from scrapbook paper.

Paper
Glue squares onto strips, about 1/2" from top.

Paper
Glue top of strip and square onto front of card.

Paper
Trim bottom of strip as shown. Glue in place.

Card
Repeat with remaining strips.

Card
Tie three small ribbon bows and hot glue onto each strip. Send to a friend!

Like I said, it's par for the course. I'm kind of used to it by now. *shrugs*

Lovely cards! I know just where to come if I need to figure out how to make homemade cards. Actually, I'd like to start doing that. It's just hard to find the time. :-/

Kelli,

Such cute notecards! I think you need to get your own television show. Your ideas are much better than Martha's, in my opinion! :)

Thanks for some more creative and cute ideas. I actually made four cards today. Will post pics on my blog. It's such a great way to save money these days, and doesn't take long at all to put them together.
