Happy Friday! For show and tell, I am sharing some summer touches that I have added to my kitchen. One of my favorite color combinations is blue and white, so I love my new tea towels.

I also decorated my kitchen piesafe with special red things, including the cherry dishes that I found last year.

Good morning! We had a wonderful long weekend which began at a Wildlife Ranch called the Sharkarosa.

3567224676_c2c20a2bd5.jpg
They have many endangered and rescued animals and do a wonderful job of providing as much of a natural habitat for them, as possible.

3566410601_270de0df99.jpg
They also have baby animals, including this little joey which was so soft.

3567227098_ec1b3fae05.jpg
The girls and Benjamin picked out some cute souvenirs.

IMG_8845.JPG
On the way home I got a new Shamrock for my watergarden.

IMG_8848.JPG
And tiny Fairy Moss.

IMG_8554.JPG
Plenty of games were enjoyed this weekend, too. Especially Pictureka and Settlers of Catan.

IMG_8573.JPG
We had family and friends over for a cookout yesterday. I got out my summer dishes.

IMG_8558.JPG
Phillip made his family's recipe of Tuna Macaroni Salad.

IMG_8583.JPG
And grilled delicious chicken.

IMG_8589.JPG
We had strawberry shortcake and lemon pie for dessert. Thank you for taking a look at our fun weekend pictures. Let the summer heat begin!

Grace's stuffed golden retrievers: Daisy and Daisy Jr. Webkinz are popular at our house!

IMG_8457.JPG
A special bunny from my childhood, named Buttercup.

IMG_8455.JPG
A well worn cottontail.
