An old fashioned style popcorn popper (thank you, Target!) and fun containers (thank you, dollar section!) make a Friday evening extra enjoyable.

How fun!!! I've just quit making microwave popcorn - homemade is so much better! Here's the link to a homemade kettle corn that I've gotten hooked on - it's delicious!

Oh Kelli I have one of those pop corn poppers too!! I love it, but it didn't come with instructions to pop corn in it!!! It did come with pre measured packets of popcorn and butter that you throw in it and use. Did yours come with instructions? If so could you share them with me? :) We had a family pizza party last night and watched The Santa Clause 2!! Fun! Those popcorn containers are sooooo cute. I must keep an eye out for some of those the next time I'm out shopping. Thanks for sharing! :)

I love popcorn. I have one of those air poppers.
The popcorn I put in it is the stuff I grew myself.
I like microwave popcorn but I know it's ladden with a bunch of chemicals that is not good for you.

Love popcorn made in one of those makers. We even take ours camping with us. I do have to find some fun containers for the finished product though. Guess I have to search at Target!

God bless.

I have a friend at church who cooks popcorn the old fashion way and has for a long time. As a matter of fact, she does it with her husband, and their 2 girls and that is their Sunday night dinner. :o) I love old fashion things! Someone gave my husband soem of those containers before we got married, but we've never used them. Maybe I will now...after seeing your photo, it does look fun! :o)

Yummy! Quick warning: those plastic boxes fall apart after about a year. So cute, but doesn't last, at least they are cheap.

Friday night is family night at our house--it has been since my kids were little!
They are young adults now--and still look forward to family night! :)

Great tradition--hang on to that one!
