A White Christmas

House
Happy New Year! We've had a wonderful holiday season and one of the best surprises was a white Christmas! The snow started Christmas Eve afternoon and went late into the evening. My parents and brother spent the week with us and we all had a fun time together.

Benjamin
A big snowball.

Snowman
A mini snowman.

Reindeer food
Making reindeer food.

New Pajamas
My mom made new pajamas for the girls and a bathrobe for Benjamin.

Christmas tree
Late Christmas Eve.

Cinnamon Rolls
Homemade cinnamon rolls for our Christmas breakfast.

Christmas dinner
We enjoyed a roast beef dinner and pumpkin pie for dessert. Phillip had the week after Christmas off, so we've been spoiled with sleeping in and lots of free time. Now it's time to get back on schedule. I'm looking forward to 2010!

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and the Merry Christmas wishes!

Hi Kelli~
It's nice to see you back! Every post you do is always such a delight to read. Glad to see you had a fun-filled white Christmas! Your blog is one of the few blogs I instantly read all the way back to the beginning in one sitting; I am sometimes a night owl! :o) You have inspired me to start making my own handmade cards. I'm going to start with Valentine's soon. I've never been one to follow through with scrapbooking (I'd rather just do traditional photo albums), but I like paper crafts so I'm going to give it a try. Enjoy January and your regularily scheduled week. My motto this year is to ~embrace ALL the seasons~ .. bitter cold ones too! Take care!
With warm wishes,
~Lara

Oh I bet you wish you were back in So. Dak. We had a blizzard starting on Christmas Eve and running throughout Christmas Day. :-D

Glad to see you had some Christmas snow.

Your Christmas cinnamon rolls look delicious!!
Isn't it a treat for Texas to get snow? My sister used to live there and her kids were so excited to come to our house for Christmas so they could play in the snow.

Dear, dear Kelli! I know all of your blogging friends are glad to see your Christmas pictures today. I can say I sure have been anxious to see and hear from you.

My favorite picture was the one of your house. I have to agree with "Joolzmac"....it looks like your home would make a beautiful post card.

My other favorite was the kids in their jammies that their grandma made. Your mom is a wonderful seamstress. I was amazed at how much the kids have grown. Grace is turning into a young lady right before our eyes. She is beautiful and so are the others.

I hope everyone at the Winn house has a happy, healthy 2010.

Love, Debbi

Hi Kelli - I'm so glad you enjoyed a white Christmas - we had cold hard rain, but it didn't matter since we were all snug and happy at home! We made the best of it and played games for hours whilst munching on Christmas goodies and consuming gallons of hot chocolate and tea! I love your pictures and seeing a new post! May the Lord bless you in the New Year!

Happy New Year, Kelli!
I don't know if I've ever commented before, but I've been following for a little while, and perused this last crop of pictures with delight. Looove the kids in their new flannel jammies/robe made by their grandmother with love in every stitch, no doubt.

P.S. My Mum is shy about commenting but linked to your blog from mine and loved it. Of all the others, it was yours she commented on with admiration. ;)

Everything looked so nice for the holidays, good for you. We had snow as well....(Maryland) but I guess you don't get snow as much as we do so good for you....it's always nice to have a White Christmas.

Happy New Year!
Wishing you the best for 2010.
