Father's Day Pocket Coupon Card

Card
Since Father's Day is just around the corner, I have one more card idea to share.

Paper
You will need:
5 x 7" notecard
4 1/2 x 6 1/2" patterned scrapbook paper

Card
Glue the scrapbook rectangle to the front of notecard.

Pocket
Cut out pocket from cardstock. This is the pattern I used: Pocket Template

Card
Glue the sides and bottom to front of card. Add decorative pen markings along edges.

Coupons
Print out or write approx. 5 coupons. Ideas:
-Uninterrupted Nap
-1 batch homemade cookies
-1 Lawn mowing
-1 Breakfast in bed
-1 Back scratch

Coupon
Cut coupon card stock 2x3" with the coupon slightly smaller. Glue to cardstock.

Coupons

Pocket
Slip coupons into pocket.

Pocket
You can also decorate the front of the pocket with any leftover scrapbook paper.

Card
This pattern is great for other occasions, too. This is a new baby card.

Poem
Instead of coupons, I used a short poem, a few lines on each rectangle.

Poem
Punch a hole in the top of the cards and tie a ribbon bow.

Paper
I dabbed the edges with a pink stamp pad.

I hope you have enjoyed this week's project!

This is just the thing! Great as usual. If you get a moment, come see my garden update. I am tickled pink because this is my first real try at a garden and I did not have high hopes. Here's the link:

Hi Kelli,

Love that Fathers Day coupon card.

I'm sure all dads would love a nap, and to have their lawns mowed and etc.

I hope to be around blog land a bit more now. As I am back home to my family and not working anymore.
