Giving Thanks ~ Monday

Giving Thanks

Welcome to the first day of our "Giving Thanks" celebration! Let's take these next four days (Monday-Thursday) to prepare our hearts and homes for this wonderful time of year. Each day I will share a Thanksgiving project, daily cleaning challenge and poem, all of which are located directly below this post.

I would love for you to join in the fun! Mr. Linky is available for you to sign and here are some things you could share on your blog:

-What you are thankful for
-Thanksgiving traditions or memories
-Recipes
-Craft Ideas
-Decorating ideas
-Your menu
-Cleaning/Organizing "before" and "after" pictures
-Anything having to do with Thanksgiving!

Everyone who participates and signs Mr. Linky will be entered into a drawing at the end of the week! Go HERE to see the prizes. Each day you participate, your name will be entered into the giveaway drawing. If you participate two days, your name will be entered twice, join us all four days for four entries, etc.

Please read the participating instructions carefully:

1. Write a Thanksgiving post on your blog. Link back to There is No Place Like Home so that others know where to join in. You may use the "Giving Thanks" button located at the top of this post. Go HERE for the picture code.

2. When signing Mr. Linky, link directly to your "Giving Thanks" post and not your homepage URL. People will be looking through these links all week long. If you link to your main page, it will be harder to find your post. Go HERE for instructions on how to do this.

3. In order to make the Mr. Linky list easier to read, please type your first name only and a 1-2 word description. Example: Kelli-Recipe.

We are looking forward to what you have to share!

Kelli, please feel free to take #9 off the linky list. I did not link directly, and corrected it on #10. Thanks.

And thanks for hosting this again. I love to read them all. You will be busy once more. But I like the way you help us pause to be thankful for all we have. Blessings!

Thanks for doing this! It was fun to see everyone's ideas. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.
I messed up my link, though, and didn't realise it still said (budgeting) behind my name from a former Works for Me Wednesday! Oops!
Mine's about a tablecloth..

oh-I just love your pilgrim and indian figurines. I would love to find a pair like those. We don't have a Hobby Lobby here. They look like they are all friends. :)

What a great idea to have a Thanksgiving give away !! We don't have Thanksgiving in The Netherlands, but I love the idea that is behind it !!
Your centerpiece is wonderful, those little statues are so cute !!

I LOVE your Thanksgiving Cornucopia Centerpiece. It's really beautiful.
I am sad we do not have Thanksgiving in England. It is just an ordinary day for us.
I am looking forward to kind of joining in virtually via your blog if I may!

Hi Kelli, Thanks so much for hosting this. I'm excited to go check out everybody's Thanksgiving posts. I posted a garlic cheese roll recipe that is out of this world, made with the bread machine so it's not too much trouble. But it's a great addition to the Thanksgiving table.

OK, off to check out everyone's fun entries. Thanks again! :)
