A New Quilt Rack
Hello everyone! Phillip had to work late last night so we decided to go to Goodwill. Earlier that day I had been looking through a catalog at some $70.00 quilt racks...Yikes! Imagine my surprise when I saw one at Goodwill a few hours later for $10.99! It just needed a good polish with some Old English wood cleaner.
It has three long wooden bars on it for hanging quilts.
I also displayed my vintage linens, an idea I borrowed from Martha. :0)

Ooh, I'm thrilled with the bargain you found. I LOVE to find just what I've wished for when I'm thrifting. Sometimes I wonder if God saves them just for me and then places them in the perfect spot for me to find just as I discover them. You did a great job displaying your linens. You encourage me and while I read and looked at your linens I "suddenly" remembered a fantastic oak quilt shelf/hanger that's in my garage. I'm going to go out and get it, dust it off and hang it in my sewing room with some of my vintage linens and perhaps an old quilt peeking out from under them. You are an inspiration. Thanks for sharing.

What a WONDERFUL find, Kelli!! I gave one as a wedding gift a few years ago and paid WAY more than $70 even! So the price you found at Goodwill is WONDERFUL!!
We enjoy going to Goodwill, too, to see if there are any "hidden gems" waiting on us. Looks like you found one for sure!

Goodwill in Washington is my favorite place to shop. The Goodwills in California where I'm living now are dismal...
I bought my quilt rack at Goodwill also for a real bargain.

Oh, what a great find! I love quilt racks, I have one, but it was given to me by my mom and has served me well, through several military moves. It was one item I didn't store, I brought it home with me and it is in my room here:)
How come I never find such things at our thrift shops???? lol Oh Kelli, it's gorgeous and I so love the way it displays all your vintage linens!! What a lucky find indeed!! xox

I have the exact same quilt rack! :) My husband picked it up for me at a yard sale down the road for $10 a month after we married last year. Isn't it great?!
