Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT cram your garbage disposal full of cooked pasta. The good news is, the area under my sink is really clean now. :0) Oh, and so is my husband, who had to have a shower after the whole ordeal.

I asked her what was clogging the sink. She said, "Gee, I don't know." A few minutes later she asked if pasta might be a problem. "How much pasta?" I asked. "Maybe a cup." she suggested.
I pull at least four cups of cooked pasta out of the pipes underneath the sink. At least!
I'm thinking I should stay out of the kitchen for awhile. Last night at about 10:30pm I broke the handle on our dishwasher and now it won't turn on! No pasta was involved this time though. LOL I think having to handwash dishes for a few months (before breaking down and buying a new dishwasher) is a well-deserved punishment. :0)

I love the pasta story. It reminds me of when my MIL poured an old container of Metamucil down the disposal. :)
The further away from the incident you get, the funnier it will become!
