"Show and Tell Friday!"

Welcome to “Show and Tell Friday!” Do you have something special to share with us? It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, or a treasured collection. Look around your home for something to share; dig through those boxes in your closet if you have to! Share photos and the story that goes with your special item.

Today I'm going to show you some of my favorite tea dishes...

Teaset
This little tea set was a gift to Grace and Emily from Nana.

Design
I love it because of the pale yellow and lovely gold patterns.

Lid
Even the lid is very detailed.

Teaset
We have several matching teacups.

Saucer
The saucers remind me of delicate lace.

Teacup
The teacups are very delicate as well.

Teaset
We display the set in our kitchen hutch, but Grace and Emily like to get it out for tea sometimes, when my friend, Revee and her girls come over for a visit.

Teapot
The other tea pot that I want to show you is a new find.

Marjolein Bastin
It's by one of my favorite artists, Marjolein Bastin and I found it in the furniture section at Goodwill for $2.99! I especially love that this teapot takes us through the four seasons...

Spring

Summer

Thank you for looking at my show and tell!

Wow, a four seasons tea pot! I've heart of Marjolein Bastin before but unfortunately, I do not really know her art. I like that very first tea seat best. I reminds me of my precious dish that I inherited from my grandparents.

Have a fun camping week-end, Kelli!

Hi, Kelli. Love the dishes. Guess you guys are getting the weather right now. We are in Johnson City and a huge, but mild, cell is passing over us. However, our daughter called earlier and Mineral Wells has been devastated. We lots of windows broken and water coming down a wall, but our Son-in-law and nail things up, and we will go home tomorrow. Should have gone today, but the wind was to great to pull the trailer successfully.

You all stay safe!

What dainty cups and saucers. I'm afraid we have a teabag in a mug here! Love the pretty teapot, and the illustrations remind me of the Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady designs. I'm sure you're familiar with this book.

I saw your blog listed over at Pam's, and decided to stop on over! I have so enjoyed my visit! The gold tea set is just to die for! Absolutely beautiful! And I love your red dishes and tray that you got from Tuesday Mornings! I love that store, but I always seem to forget about them! I can't wait to try your butterscotch/chocolate brownies...they sound just too good! :) I wish I had time to participate in your challenge, maybe next week...I volunteer on Friday and I have a son going to the pro, tonight...so it has been kind of hectic today! But I can't wait to come back and see what everyone shared!

Hope you don't mind that I am earmarking your blog, I just enjoyed it so much, that I want to check back in with you and see what's new!

Have a great weekend! ~Rhonda

Very pretty and I love the lacy-looking saucers.

And the artwork on the 4-seasons teapot is so pretty. Makes me think of the artwork in Elizabeth Holden's The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady.

It's so sweet that the girls have their own tea set. It's lovely. You seem to have a knack for finding things by Marjolein Bastin. She is one of my favorite artists. I can't seem to find anything with the exception of cards. I'll keep looking. Your success gives me hope that there is stuff out there. =0)
