"Show and Tell Friday!"
Welcome to “Show and Tell Friday!” Do you have something special to share with us? It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, or a treasured collection. Look around your home for something to share; dig through those boxes in your closet if you have to! Share photos and the story that goes with your special item.
Today I'm going to show you some of my favorite tea dishes...
This little tea set was a gift to Grace and Emily from Nana.
I love it because of the pale yellow and lovely gold patterns.
Even the lid is very detailed.
We have several matching teacups.
The saucers remind me of delicate lace.
The teacups are very delicate as well.
We display the set in our kitchen hutch, but Grace and Emily like to get it out for tea sometimes, when my friend, Revee and her girls come over for a visit.
The other tea pot that I want to show you is a new find.
It's by one of my favorite artists, Marjolein Bastin and I found it in the furniture section at Goodwill for $2.99! I especially love that this teapot takes us through the four seasons...
Spring
Summer
Autumn
Winter
Thank you for looking at my show and tell!

I love Marjolein Bastin's work. What a great find! I love the cut-outs in the saucer of the first pictures.
OOOhhh! I adore those lacy tea cup sauers!
I used to see alot of Marjolein
Bastin's cards and giftware at
the Hallmark greeting card stores.
I like her nature designs, a great find Kelli !
The tea set is gorgeous!
I've never seen a tea pot like that, what a nice bargain too!

Wow, a four seasons tea pot! I've heart of Marjolein Bastin before but unfortunately, I do not really know her art. I like that very first tea seat best. I reminds me of my precious dish that I inherited from my grandparents.
Have a fun camping week-end, Kelli!

Two sets completely different ! very nice !
Hi, Kelli. Love the dishes. Guess you guys are getting the weather right now. We are in Johnson City and a huge, but mild, cell is passing over us. However, our daughter called earlier and Mineral Wells has been devastated. We lots of windows broken and water coming down a wall, but our Son-in-law and nail things up, and we will go home tomorrow. Should have gone today, but the wind was to great to pull the trailer successfully.
You all stay safe!
What dainty cups and saucers. I'm afraid we have a teabag in a mug here! Love the pretty teapot, and the illustrations remind me of the Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady designs. I'm sure you're familiar with this book.
The girl's tea set looks very expensive! I love the details and especially those lacy plates! How divine! As for the other tea pot, how neat is it to have the four seasons on it? Someone was so clever!
The girl's tea set is very beautiful. The yellow with the gilt decoration makes them especially elegant and special.
The Bastien teapot was a great find!
Very pretty Kelli.
Honestly girl, I wouldn't want to dust all of your things!! :0)
They sure are pretty to look at though!
Kelli,
Those delicate tea set is so sweet. I can imagine your daughters and friends have such a delightful time having their own tea party.
Your tea pot is gorgeous. How unique to have all four seasons grace all around. Very pretty!

What a gorgeous tea set. I'm not crazy about tea, unless it's iced, but I think I could learn to drink hot tea from those lovely cups. Thanks for sharing.
That is such a precious tea-set from Nana. The teapot is so sweet too.
Kathi

I had to add my permalink to this blog spot..
I like these very much! So delicate. I love the lacey look of the saucer. Don't see this type of thing everyday. I'll have to be on the look out for Marjolein Bastin's work...very nice.
Kelli, I enjoyed seeing your tea dishes. You can always something nice at Goodwill or a thrift store other than Goodwill. I need to go more often.
Mine is up for today. I am showing some of the pictures I made on our two day mystery trip.
Kelli, the tea set is nice.I did my own form of show and tell friday.
I saw your blog listed over at Pam's, and decided to stop on over! I have so enjoyed my visit! The gold tea set is just to die for! Absolutely beautiful! And I love your red dishes and tray that you got from Tuesday Mornings! I love that store, but I always seem to forget about them! I can't wait to try your butterscotch/chocolate brownies...they sound just too good! :) I wish I had time to participate in your challenge, maybe next week...I volunteer on Friday and I have a son going to the pro, tonight...so it has been kind of hectic today! But I can't wait to come back and see what everyone shared!
Hope you don't mind that I am earmarking your blog, I just enjoyed it so much, that I want to check back in with you and see what's new!
Have a great weekend! ~Rhonda

Love all the tea things. would love to sit with you over a cup. I have really bought some good ones.
I have just a few tea cups and just a few tea pots, but I treasure them.
Although I am not a S&T participant, I shared my ugly bathroom today on my New Beginnings blog. If you'd like a laugh, come on over. :-)

Hi Kelli!
I love all the "show and tells"! I must join in a future Friday. It's so inspiring! Thanks!
Hugs, Pat
Love the lacey teacup sets! Any chance I get to pull out my old cups and saucers I do.
Hi, I did find time to post and I'm so glad to share! I have enjoyed viewing everyone's blog! Thank you for hosting this challenge! I'm sorry that I listed my name/link twice! The first one is incorrect. I'm fairly new at this and just learning how to navigate around my blog! :) ~Rhonda
Very pretty and I love the lacy-looking saucers.
And the artwork on the 4-seasons teapot is so pretty. Makes me think of the artwork in Elizabeth Holden's The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady.
It's so sweet that the girls have their own tea set. It's lovely. You seem to have a knack for finding things by Marjolein Bastin. She is one of my favorite artists. I can't seem to find anything with the exception of cards. I'll keep looking. Your success gives me hope that there is stuff out there. =0)
