Blueberry Cream Cheese Strudel

Hello everyone! Thank you for your wonderful comments on my easy entertaining post and thank you for sharing your great tips, too.

I had Mother's Day in mind when I was looking through my recipes last week. I wanted one that was easy enough for Dad and the kids to whip up for a surprise breakfast in bed because what mom doesn't like that, right?! My Mother-in-law made this Blueberry Cream Cheese Strudel when she came out for a visit after Emily was born. I've made it several times since then, and it is always a hit.

Flaky puff pastry filled the sweet cream cheese and blueberries.

It would also make a wonderful dessert or a teatime snack. Come on over to Seasonal Delights for the recipe and let me know if you try it!

I just gained 5 lbs by looking at that picture!

My family doesn't like blueberries (what planet are they from anyway). I think I will try it with cherries!

Thanks for sharing your recipe.

very yummy :) I left a long comment over at SD about it. Had to say that I loved your idea for lunch from yesterday....so simple and easy but still filling. I'm not a natural at entertaining so I love reading comments and learning new ideas. Thank you! I'll have to try strawberries in lemonade this year as finally our little one can have strawberries :) Take care!

I just wanted to let you know that we made this a few days ago. Even though we accidently left out the egg causing it be way too runny, it was absolutely delicious! I plan to make it again for company on Saturday...and this time we'll try it with the egg (hopefully). :-)
