Hello! Thank you for your comments on the tomato and mozzarella salad and also my lunch with the morning doves. I may have to take a break from eating lunch on the patio for awhile since it has been close to 100F for the last two days!
I thought I would share some little things I have around my yard and porches.
Depending on the season, I change out the ribbon around my rocking chair pillow. My friend Heather sent me this pretty yellow ribbon.
Impatiens on a plant stand with a small birdbath underneath.
Since summer is coming up, I put out my mini star lanterns.
Lit up at night.
In this corner of my front yard I have a gliding bench.
Along with a butterfly plant hanger.
A comfy pillow on the bench.
The centerpiece on my back patio table is a votive candle holder.
But I found these rose shaped floating candles that fit perfectly in each section.
And finally some new pictures on my patio wall.
One for each of the four seasons!
Thank you for looking at some little things around my yard!
surfing around I found your nice blog. It's fun to travel in a second from Cologne in Germany to Texas. I will return!! ;-))
Regards from sunny Cologne
Your patio is just so homey. It's beautiful the way you accessorize, and it makes me want to just jump right into the picture, sit down, and relax. (Hey, Kelli, could you bring me an ice tea?)
Everything looks so warm and welcoming...you've done a great job, Kelli! I've been working on some front porch projects and I'm going to share pictures soon on the blog :)
Wow, Kelly you have more things than anyone I have ever seen.
Your decor is beautiful as usual!
Your outside is just as beautifully decorated as your inside! I love that glider, too, and am a bit jealous!!! I've been looking for one for a while now. I would love to find one of those old heavy metal ones.
And the floating candle idea is perfect, so pretty, and smart. Funny, I never thought about using them OUT of water. :o) See....that's what I love about blogging, so many good ideas that are shared.
Have a wonderfully blessed holiday week-end with your sweet family.
You always seem to make things look so very nice and homey.
I loved the walk through your porches. We are still working on ours. I'm looking for an outdoor rug.
I just love those little seasonal pictures on the wall; very unique! :)
I love, love, love your patio! What a restful place!
I got a glider just like your's, when my first grandson was born 10 years ago, so that I could sit on my front porch & rock him. I still have it & we still rock in it. BTW your votive holder would make a really cute cupcake stand. Cami
Good Morning, Kelli! Wow, 100 degrees already!! We're lucky to get to a high of 70. I love your garden space. I'll be right over to share a glass of ice tea with you. I would love to sit on that glider. We had one just like it except it was white when I was growing up. Hugs, Terrie
Hi Kelli, your yard and patio are lovely. I love your front entry it looks so inviting and I just love the glider...a perfect place to sit and just enjoy. Linda
Oh Kelli, everything looks so lovely.
Kelli do you ever watch P. Allen Smith's Garden Home on PBS? Because I think you should be a guest on his show! You have such a beautiful garden home!
Have a wonderful day! Send some sun our way, we cooled back down, and I was hoping for a warm camping trip!
When can you come and decorate our porch???? I am pea green with envy - yours is so warm and welcoming, and our is just a dump right now! It doesn't help that we have no garage for all of the toys and garden tools, but I REALLY need to get out there and spruce things up! It's too cold to enjoy a sit outside, but I need to get thing ready - warm weather will come - eventually - I hope!!! Thanks for your inspiration Kelli!
Your porch always looks so inviting. Keep cool!
Hello dear Kelli:-)
I just so wish I could be sitting out on your patio with you!! Everything looks so inviting and cozy...I just love the rose floating candles you found to put in your voltive holder, they're gorgeous!! Hmmmm, no wonder it's so cold here, you have all the heat...c'mon, share some with me, will ya! lol It's only 41F here right now but it's supposed to start getting warmer again by the weekend, so fingers crossed. I need to do some planting soon!!! xoxo
Wow...I dread those hot temps...just 60º here this afternoon...
Your place is so nice!☺
What a lovely sanctuary you have in your home and yard.
BTW, thanks for your comment about my question regarding the rambling roses. It's not a problem at all. I just thought I'd ask. In the two years I've had this place the roses have continued to well. I'm guessing it has something to do with the previous owners actually planting something that would do well here.
It looks like heaven on earth. have a sun-shiney day!! Julie
Kelli---everything is just so lovely:) I had to giggle because your votive stand looks just like a cupcake stand I want to get:)
The rose candles are just so pretty.
Kelli, too beautiful! I love decorating outside, and now that I'm in Florida, I can decorate year-round out on the Lanai. It's so much fun! hugs!
Very pretty, Kelli! I especially love the planter in the last picture!
Kelli, your back yard is just lovely...
The perfect place to spend those beautiful summer days!
Wishing you a blessed evening!
Kelli, Everything is so nice and so "ambient". I can't believe how comfy and nice your patio is. I could really hang out there.
Your outdoor decor and patio looks very homey, cozy and inviting! Thanks for sharing.
I'm an Arkansas girl and it's pretty hot here too, but not that hot! Whew!
I would like to invite you to come by and visit my blog sometime. I'd love to have you!
Have a great evening!
It is so pretty and comfy! I thank you for sharing your home.
I think my favorite is the rose candles lit at night! It looks so neat!
So pretty!! Makes me wish I still had my front porch to decorate!!
I love the votive candle holder. What a neat idea. We lived in Wichita Falls for several years. Boy, do I remember the heat AND humidity! My oldest was born there.
I just adore your porch, and the little star lantern is just too cute! I am going to have to try your recipe with the tomatoes!
Stay cool with that weather out there!
I love your patio. I bet it is covered. All of the homey touches make me want to come by for a visit. Maybe in the fall when it isn't so hot.
Ah, Kelli, the outside of your house always looks so charming. What an inspiration you are!
Thanks for the tour!
Oh my, Kelli!! Everything is SOO pretty!! You always add just the right touches to make everything seem to welcoming!!
Everything looks so fresh and pretty. Is that sweet potato vine in one of your planters? I planted some for the first time this year and I hope it trails. So far it is full and beautiful, but hasn't started draping over my planter.
what a wonderful yard and porch, love the white rocker, I just got back from Kentucky on a vacation and the Cracker Barrel there had several rockers out front. Thanks for visiting my blog...
