Homemade Spring Notecard

Hello everyone! Every Thursday I share a card making project at The Homeschool Lounge's letter writing group, and I hope you don't mind me sharing it here too.

I'm using springtime rainy day paper that I found at Jo-Ann Fabrics, but you can use any paper that you like.

Here is what you will need:
-Solid cardstock
-Patterned scrapbook paper

-Ribbon

-Scissors (straight and decorative)
-Hole punch

-Glue

1. Cut a rectangle from cardstock.
2. Cut a slightly smaller rectangle from scrapbook paper.

Paper
3. Glue scrapbook paper onto cardstock.

Paper
4. Cut a square from scrapbook paper and then cut in half, corner to corner.

Paper
5. Glue pieces into top left corner and bottom right corner of notecard.

Paper
6. Cut two small squares from scrapbook paper.
7. Cut a circle from cardstock using decorative stickers.

Circle
8. Punch two holes at the top of cardstock circle.

I hope your week is going well. It's going by quickly for me, I've been working in my gardens and cleaning up my back patio. I hope to show pictures next week!

How is your week going?

That is so cute! Kelli, this looks like the same thin ribbon you put on a card you sent me. I've looked around but can't find it. Where did you buy it?

What a pretty card, Kelli--I am trying to think of how to make Little Kevin's invites to his party--so this has helped me :)

So very nice. You do such beautiful paper craft. You don't do a lot of stamping, do you? I have a lot of stamps and mostly the children use them to make up things for special events and holidays. I think you've inspired me to organize my paper crafting supplies so they are a little more convenient to grab. These little cards have to be pretty quick to make. And then maybe I'd be inspired to improve my letter writing and...who knows where it might all end?
Thanks Kelli.
