Porch and Yard Decorations

Hello! Thank you for your comments on the tomato and mozzarella salad and also my lunch with the morning doves. I may have to take a break from eating lunch on the patio for awhile since it has been close to 100F for the last two days!

Front porch
I thought I would share some little things I have around my yard and porches.

Flowers
Depending on the season, I change out the ribbon around my rocking chair pillow. My friend Heather sent me this pretty yellow ribbon.

Flowers
Impatiens on a plant stand with a small birdbath underneath.

Lantern
Since summer is coming up, I put out my mini star lanterns.

Lantern
Lit up at night.

Bench
In this corner of my front yard I have a gliding bench.

Planter
Along with a butterfly plant hanger.

Pillow
A comfy pillow on the bench.

Patio
The centerpiece on my back patio table is a votive candle holder.

Candles
But I found these rose shaped floating candles that fit perfectly in each section.

Candles

Patio
And finally some new pictures on my patio wall.

Pictures
One for each of the four seasons!

Signs

Pictures
Thank you for looking at some little things around my yard!

Kelli,
Your patio is just so homey. It's beautiful the way you accessorize, and it makes me want to just jump right into the picture, sit down, and relax. (Hey, Kelli, could you bring me an ice tea?)

Your outside is just as beautifully decorated as your inside! I love that glider, too, and am a bit jealous!!! I've been looking for one for a while now. I would love to find one of those old heavy metal ones.
And the floating candle idea is perfect, so pretty, and smart. Funny, I never thought about using them OUT of water. :o) See....that's what I love about blogging, so many good ideas that are shared.
Have a wonderfully blessed holiday week-end with your sweet family.

I got a glider just like your's, when my first grandson was born 10 years ago, so that I could sit on my front porch & rock him. I still have it & we still rock in it. BTW your votive holder would make a really cute cupcake stand. Cami

Good Morning, Kelli! Wow, 100 degrees already!! We're lucky to get to a high of 70. I love your garden space. I'll be right over to share a glass of ice tea with you. I would love to sit on that glider. We had one just like it except it was white when I was growing up. Hugs, Terrie

Kelli do you ever watch P. Allen Smith's Garden Home on PBS? Because I think you should be a guest on his show! You have such a beautiful garden home!

Have a wonderful day! Send some sun our way, we cooled back down, and I was hoping for a warm camping trip!

When can you come and decorate our porch???? I am pea green with envy - yours is so warm and welcoming, and our is just a dump right now! It doesn't help that we have no garage for all of the toys and garden tools, but I REALLY need to get out there and spruce things up! It's too cold to enjoy a sit outside, but I need to get thing ready - warm weather will come - eventually - I hope!!! Thanks for your inspiration Kelli!

I just so wish I could be sitting out on your patio with you!! Everything looks so inviting and cozy...I just love the rose floating candles you found to put in your voltive holder, they're gorgeous!! Hmmmm, no wonder it's so cold here, you have all the heat...c'mon, share some with me, will ya! lol It's only 41F here right now but it's supposed to start getting warmer again by the weekend, so fingers crossed. I need to do some planting soon!!! xoxo

Everything looks so fresh and pretty. Is that sweet potato vine in one of your planters? I planted some for the first time this year and I hope it trails. So far it is full and beautiful, but hasn't started draping over my planter.
