Show and Tell Friday!

Welcome to “Show and Tell Friday!” Do you have something special to share with us? It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, or a treasured collection. Look around your home for something to share; dig through those boxes in your closet if you have to! Share photos and the story that goes with your special item.

Aprons
I found some fun strawberry fabric at Hobby Lobby a few months ago and finally got around to making Grace and Emily summer aprons. I used a simple design and let the girls pick the trim and pocket style.

Apron
Grace chose a green trim along the bottom.

Pocket
And a small pocket on the right.

Apron

Ruffle
Emily chose a red ruffled trim.

Pocket
And a double pocket in the middle.

Apron
Her favorite part!

Apron
Now they just need to find a good cookie recipe to test them out on. :0)

Thank you for looking at our show and tell!

Please read the Show and Tell Guidelines for step-by-step instructions on how to participate.

I have wanted to make an apron for my granddaughter all summer. The ones you made for Grace and Emily are darling, Kelli! Maybe I'll get mine made after all!

Congratulation on those pretty aprons, Kelli! And I am sure, finding a nice recipe won't be any problem! ;-)))

The strawberry fabric looks very pretty! Do you have anything left? Little fabric yoyos on the pockets would look quite nice, too!

We are enjoying the first days of our summer vacation. Summer is finally here, I love this hot weather!

Have a wonderful Friday!

Blogger was having some sort of problem yesterday and this morning, and I couldn't access your blog or link to Show and Tell until just a few minutes ago. Glad it seems to be finally resolved!

I couldn't open your blog at all the last day or so.
I forgot to participate in Show & Tell Friday. I actually forgot what day it was early that morning. The Lady and her Daughter who help me out changed their day here from Thursday to Friday so it was easy to confuse things. We got a good bit of packing done and that's a good thing.
I love Emily's apron! I like the big pocket and the red color.
I've copied the recipe above for ribs. I had seen it before but not made a copy. I will definitely try it soon. We like the country ribs that are a little larger than spare ribs. I think they are from the back bone.
